Firstly i got into anime a year after aot came out, it was perhaps the 3rd anime i had watched and its made me love anime ever since. Aot came at a period where anime was never 'mainstream' but when it came out anime's levels went another level. Aot is the one anime which a lot of none anime watchers can name as it had such an impact on the community. I have invested my years into aot reading the manga and watching the ovas. The reasons why its so good in my opinion are: Animation- aot came out at a time where the norm of anime would have pretty bad or average animation, but aot came out with such a flexible range of animation, the animation flows perfectly and consistently through all the seasons which have been produced. Aot had the best animation this decade. Its a fact as the singular beach scene alone bought me to tears, no dialogue or audio was needed, it was beautiful. music- no one can say an aot opening is bad, everyone has shouted jaeger at the topic of their lungs at least 70 times, but not only that the openings bring so much emotion to the anime either leaving you pumped or on the edge of your seat. The openings arent the only good music, the osts are beautiful they can make you fully imagine yourself in the anime and creates a closer connection with the characters. story- the story is amazing and each and every episode you see the true despair of the world and you fully follow the characters dive in to it. characters- the mc eren is somewhat a side character throughout it all as you see every other character developing around him and changing through his action as they make their decisions, thats why eren in my opinion is the best mc. also most of the characters in this anime can hold an anime of themselves fully. That is some reasons why i think attack on titan is amazing and one of the best anime ever.

I started anime this year and have seen some anime every year. The animes will be based on when they aired, not when they stopped. So here is my list. 2011: This year I only watched one show, Fate/Zero. But that's fine cause this is a great show with trust, fights, emotions, and does not take place in a high school. 2012: I watched a lot more shows from this year, that number being 3. I am again giving it to Fate/Zero 2nd season, the same reasons as 2011. My honorable mention would go to Sword Art Online, as that show got me more into anime then Fate/Zero did. 2013: This year I watched 2 shows and am watching a third one right now. But its pretty unsurprising what this anime is, after all it is one of my favorite animes of all time, Kill La Kill. This was the first anime I ever watched, and I remember all of it. The first few episodes are a little slow, but with great action and comedy, usally from Mako. Then when Nui is introduced it becomes pure action and a great show. Honorable Mention to Devil is a Part Timer. I am watching it and it is great right now. 2014: No Game No Life. This is my favorite anime of all time. (Or Kill La Kill is) It looks great for its time, is comedic as heck and will make you smarter as Sora is a boss. Honorable Mention to SAO 2. This got me into more of a darker anime watching vibe. 2015: I watched 3 shows, techenically 4, Assastion Classroom is on hold at 21/22 episodes. But One Punch Man wins for its atmosphere tricking you into thinking Satima will lose but then he kills the enemy in one punch. Honorable Mention to Umaru-Chan as my brother showed me the first episode and manga some time after Kill La Kill. 2016: I watched 3 shows this year, 2 of them being from Assastion Classroom, and one of them, Koro Sensei Quest, was my favorite. It was the best comedy I have ever seen, was weird on episode 3 though, and mocking so many RPG traits, like reseting a game file. Honorable Mention to My Hero Academia Season 1, as it was the first anime that I watched that was recommended to me. 2017: I watched 7 shows this year and My Hero comes in again with its second season. It had filler but the filler worked well, and the emotions expressed by Iida and Deku were great, alog with the fights. Honorable mention to Mary and the Witch's Flower, as it was an anime that I did not know was anime, and enjoyed it. 2018: I watched 2 anime and 1 movie this year. So I would say My Hero Academia Season 3 wins for its emotions and fight sences, and Agrresko as a Honorable Mention as I learned more about adulthood. 2019: Last year, I watched 1 show. Aggresko Season 2. So yeah. Overall it was a good decade for anime. Hopefully we get a season 2 to No Game No Life, Instead of a PREQUEL MOVIEEEEE. Thanks anime.

I will start this blog by looking at each year, listing what shows Ive seen and what I might missed out on and generally giving scores. For simplicity I will only cover anime that started in 2010, so no FMAB, also HxH11 will only count for 2011, etc. 2010: Notable: (scores 7-8) - Arakawa Under the Bridge - Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt - Shiki - Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha Gaiden - Angel Beats! - Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo: Anata to Koibito Tsunagi (+18 content) Gems: (scores 9-10) - Durarara!! [my pick for anime of the year] - Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu - K-On!! (Second Season) - Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei (Tatami Galaxy) - Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu (the Haruhi movie) - Bakuman. Might missed out on: - Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin - Katanagatari - Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (World God only knows) 2010 wasn't actually as void as I first thought! It featured amazing sequels in the Haruhi movie and the 2nd K-On season and it had the first season of Durarara, which is definitely the best season of Durarara and also my pick for anime of 2010 with its amazing cast of characters and great setting. Baka to Test is a personal pick of mine as comedy is subjective and its still my favourite comedy even after all these years. Bakuman S1 is also a great show but gets way better in future seasons, still its one of my favourite "gambatte" anime and always motivated me to improve myself. Lastly Tatami Galaxy also is an amazing show, really unique in its presentation and also perfect for rewatching. Of the 3 anime I haven't seen yet, all of them would probably make it into the 'notable' list, however I dont think they could top any of my 'gems'.
