I don't even know what I'll have for my next meal. Unless it's breakfast. : Ah, the consistency of routine. Anyway, how about we go in and you can introduce the girl. Great plan. *Topaz and Riri enter the gym just in time for a practice kendo match to be over. A figure in kendo armor strikes another one.* Kendo: MEN! *With a good-timed blow to the head she wins the match. He feels confident and even sits down because he's lazy.* Hey! I mean, I am but still. : Watch out! : Hey, the other door got stuck so I had to come back this way. *Megumi opens the door, causing Topaz to fall backwards. He's still looking up, and sees up her short skirt. However, he also hits the back of his head against the ground, but fortunately he doesn't get hurt as this is more of a humorous injury.* : TOPAZ! Are you alright?! : What were you doing there? Oof... I see stars... *The camera shows up Megumi's skirt from Topaz's perspective, showing her star-designed panties and big fat ass. Really. : J-just do your dumb blog, Topaz! This is no time for fanservice! You're right! That should come later! But for now let's get started! ==Head== ===Hair=== Megumi's hair is pretty great. I love the brown color, and it looks really nice even if in the manga itself it's a black color (that makes it a little better xD). Still, it's a pretty color and I do like brown hair. Megumi's hair is about medium-length, with two small twintails resting on her shoulders most of the time. Sadly the twintails aren't (usually) braided, but they're still cute with the skinny bottoms and holders. This doesn't mean that she doesn't occasionally have a braid, and in general she has quite a variety of hair styles. This even includes being down on occasion, where her hair is about shoulder-blade length which isn't bad. Megumi has pretty spiky but nice bangs, though she does have the common trope of a long middle bang. Her sides may be becoming thicker as the series goes on, but I'm not sure. We also can't forget about Megumi's trademark dual spikes either, with one near the top of her head and another closer to her forehead. Overall Megumi's hair looks really great, and the only thing I'd change is maybe make it longer (though not long enough to cover her ass, of course). Grade: B+ ===Eyes=== Megumi has pretty good eyes too, and I like them. They are blue, which is a little overused but at least she's not blonde. It also helps that the manga isn't in color so it's not as noticeable either. Speaking of the color, she also has a somewhat circular pupil, with the white being more obvious than in most other series (though that fits with the art style). Her eyes have a pretty shape though, with a great thick upper lid. She also has some nice lines above her eyes for emphasis too. It's hard to tell if she has a tsurime or tarame, as the top of her eye is curved but goes in a little and with her emotions it's hard to tell what she looks like normally (not that I mind that, of course). I'd say that she has a slight tsurime, but it could go either way. She has a lot of eyelashes, but as they're on the side I think they add a little more emphasis which I do enjoy (they're the triangle sort, like how I like the corners of the eye being emphasized some). Sadly Megumi doesn't regularly wear glasses, but she has worn a pair or two at various points. This includes some cosplay on the covers, though in general there are other characters for that kind of thing (Such as Mio the tanline swim club meganekko, or Megumi's kouhai Ringo as well as Ringo's mother). Still, I wouldn't mind seeing Megumi wear glasses more often as the artist draws them with such nice thick frames. Grade: B+ ===Face=== Megumi, as mentioned prior, has a lot of emotions. She's the type that can't keep her emotions bottled up, but there's nothing wrong with that and she looks so cute most of the time. This is shown by how well her facial features suit me. She does have a small nose, with it being a dot most of the time. Her cheeks look good as well, with a nice softness that I like. Her chin is a little pointed, but not so much that it affects her score too much. Megumi has great blushing moments, and in general she's a great girl here. She even has a fang for additional cuteness, amplifying her normal smile a lot! Grade: A- : So this is all the blog is? Just talking? Yes. Is that a problem? : Naw, but it feels a lot like school. And I'm still so hot... *Megumi lounges around, her skirt happening to go up and show off her starry ass.* Wow, nice space panties! I wonder if- : Topaz. You're banned from making “Uranus” jokes. Why me? : This is YOUR blog! Fine... *Topaz heads over, but notices a mosquito flying around. He waves around at it, missing.* Darn size bonuses to small creatures. : Don't feel bad, Topaz. Even Saitama took a while to catch one. *Eventually the mosquito lands on Megumi's ass, and while lucky Topaz didn't want her to feel itchy. He then smacks Megumi's ass, making it jiggle and bounce from the impact. She turns around with a red face.* : T-Tokkun... No, you misunderstand! I-I was just trying to get a mosquito and-and... : Tokkun... *Her face becomes shadowy.* Listen! I-I wasn't trying to spank you! *She looks up with a grin.* : I figured, but you still need to be punished for being such a naughty boy! And since you smacked my ass... *Megumi then swings around, smacking Topaz with her soft cushiony ass. He falls to the floor, with her huge ass sitting on him.* : Take this as punishment! Topaz: MMPHH! Riri! Help! She's got me stuck! : What do you think you're doing? *Riri then goes over to Megumi and Topaz.* : I'm the only one that's allowed to tease Topaz with my ass! *She sits next to Megumi, and while her ass isn't as big the two still press their fat asses together against Topaz's face. He moans and muffles.* This feels good and all, b-but we have a blog to do... *With that it seems like Megumi and Riri both realize what their doing, and their faces become bright red. Both get off his face and walk forward a little.* : (What am I doing? I know that Tokkun likes my ass, b-but it looks like he already has someone he likes.) : (Darn it, I must have gotten caught up in the action. W-what did I think I was doing anyway? NOOOOoooooo.. *Megumi's voice trails off as Topaz continues the blog.* ==Body== ===Build=== It's a little complicated here, as Megumi does have some issues that need to be addressed. But before that let's talk about how great she is. She' s very curvy and strong, though she's constantly sensitive about her weight. This is because she's the type that not only likes sweets but is a big eater. She becomes very depressed when she sees how plump she's become, with her sides bulging in a school photo while they were on a class trip. She needs to realize that plump girls are sexy! I've also seen that her height is 160 cm, but I cannot know how accurate that is. Still, something that I really like about Megumi is that she's full of openings, which while the title of the series this also means that she shows off her sexy body a lot. This includes her sexy thick meaty legs and somewhat-plump stomach which are great, and of course this includes her ass. Megumi's ass isn't always pushed forward, but it still gets a few good moments. It is a little hard to tell if they're focusing her panties, which would be bad, or her ass sometimes, but she still has a nice plump-looking ass. Even the lead guy gets distracted by it too, though considering her skirts are so short that they go up a little and show her ass when she sits down might be a reason. Still, Megumi is a great plump girl that needs more confidence in her size. She even gets tanlines on occasion, which are nice. Then again, the main issue for Megumi is... Grade: B+ ===Chest=== Megumi, and the series as a whole, is very mamocentric. She's got very large breasts, and they're often the first thing that people point out about her. It's one of her defining characteristics, for better bur moreso worse, and a lot of her fanservice scenes revolve around her chest. Granted it's a lot more fair than something like DxD, but that's a low bar to pass. We also see her chest (and the rest of her body) naked but the series doesn't have nipples. Megumi even mentions that she'd rather be thin than have big breasts, and they give her a lot of trouble such as sweat going between them and not fitting into a lot of costumes or dresses. To make matters even worse, she has a yuri loli that is of the perverse-fondling type which only causes Megumi to have even more mamocentric series. It is a little unfortunate how busty she is and how often it's shown off, but thanks to showing off her body in general she manages an alright score here. Grade: C+ ===Clothes=== This is one of Megumi's best areas, even if it does have an overarching problem. Megumi has a lot of variety, which always helps. Her usual outfit is the school uniform which consists of a white shirt, red bowtie, and short pleated skirt. She also wears a variety of panties, with patterns that include striped, stars, plain, and even strawberries (it's funny how often her panties match what she's doing though). Megumi also has a lot of casual outfits, though there's probably too many for me to remember them all. It's the same issue with the chapter-cover cosplay, which includes things such as a Santa outfit, a few teacher outfits, a kimono, a maid, a nurse, a Chinese dress, a witch, a gym uniform, and a sweater. Though some of those she wears in certain chapters for things such as the culture festival or other cosplay (one of which includes a Nitocris-like Egyptian outfit). She also gets put in bikinis or other skimpy outfits for people's imaginations, presumably in order to keep the rating lower due to not wanting to show nudity. And during the scenes where Megumi is actually naked, such as in the hot springs or showering, she's usually covered with steam or something similar (though I think she might have a few bare buttshots but I'm not certain). As you might be able to tell, especially from the last area, Megumi's main issue here is that her clothes are often mamocentric. They usually show cleavage, burst open, or show off her chest in another way (such as getting wet). This does harm her variety a little, as do the bikinis as they get a little repetitive sometimes, but overall she does quite excellent here. Oh and she wears her kendo outfit while doing kendo, though as it's armored (and she gets sweaty in it) I'm not too big on it other than from it being good that they're playing safe and protected. Grade: A- *Megumi looks at Topaz with a shocked expression. Her fang is even showing, making her look even cuter.* : W-what? You actually like plump girls? But of course! Especially ones with a fat ass! : Being fair she could be better due to the art style. And she should show it more often too. There's far too much emphasis on her chest. : True, unlike this blog. : Unless you count the part where you talk about her chest. That's different though. That's analysis, not fanservice. Exactly. : And Topaz knows better than to add mamocentric fanservice! Hurrah! *Megumi raises her arms, but that causes the buttons on her shirt which were straining to pop off. Her chest jiggles as her shirt opens up.* : EEEK! : TOPAZ! W-what? It's not my fault! She was the one that tempted fate! : You're still the one writing everything! And stop staring! I'm not! Well, it does fit her series I suppose. : True. About the only thing that is missing is a random scene with a character imagining her in skimpy outfits. Y-yeah. That would be ridiculous. Like a maid outfit, or Chinese dress, or a bikini with thong... *As Topaz thinks of those outfits thought bubbles appear with Megumi in the various outfits. They're showing off fairly, especially the thong bikini which shows off her beautiful plump ass. However, Riri waves her hands after the images set in.* : TOPAZ! Earth to Topaz! You have a blog to do! Good point! I do wonder what's gotten a hold of me today. Well, while we're waiting how about we continue with the blog? ==Mind== ===Personality=== Megumi is a childhood friend and neighbor to the studious Manabu, who is working hard to get into the college of his choice. In the meantime Megumi tries to study, but she's the type that gets bored quickly and is distracted by something (usually food-Megumi is a big eater as mentioned before and that's a good thing). Ironically even though she's... kind of an idiot her parents own a bookstore, while his parents own a restaurant so the always hungry Megumi often visits. She causes a lot of problems for Manabu, as she often moves around and in ways that cause her to show off her body thus distracting him from studying. She is also pretty ditzy and often likes to play, but this is often what causes perverse scenes as they play a variety of games. That said, it does cause a lot of filler, but overall I don't mind that as I like the simpler chapters as well. Megumi is also the ace of the kendo team, and eventually becomes the captain when the former one graduates. Still, Megumi has a good heart and does her best to support everyone around her by being cheerful and a good friend. She's got a great heart too, breast pun definitely not intended, as she is a kind and friendly girl. Unless you call her fat or something (even incidentally) as she'll become rage-filled. Oh, and she has some sort of accent, though I'm not sure if that's due to the translations or not (I'm not even sure where in Japan she's from, sadly). Overall she's a great girl, a great big eater, and a great childhood friend who has had a crush on her love interest for quite some time. Grade: B+ ===Libido== There are some issues here, but overall Megumi does quite well. She's in love with her childhood friend and neighbor Manabu, often wanting to hang out but being too shy to admit her feelings to him. Her friends even try to push them together, but even after however long the series is there isn't much progress. I blame this being an ongoing series, but still. I have heard that they've started dating for real, and they do have a lot of cute moments. Manabu is certainly attracted to Megumi, but he's too distracted by the prospects of going to a good school to meet with a love of his life that gave him encouragement in hard times. It was with an eraser with an inspirational message, signed only “M” though Megumi is actually the one that gave it to him instead of the girl he thinks he loves. As you can tell he's quite dense too. He did become jealous when Megumi was confessed to, being depressed for a while even if that guy was actually just practicing that because he liked one of Megumi's friends. Megumi also smacks Manabu around when she catches him looking at him, even if most of the time she's doing something that he needs to point out. She's gotten better at that though, realizing that she's at fault most of the time and apologizing. Overall I look forward to this being a rare example of a childhood friend winning, as the other girl really doesn't seem to want Manabu and he and Megumi are very cute together. Though that does cause a major issue-Even though this series isn't that well-known it does have a few doujins. Unfortunately a majority of them are stinking NTR and thus AWFUL and disgusting! It really bothers me that so much horrible work is pointed to such a cute if slightly dense couple, and while I don't count fanwork (other than with Touhou, for example) this is the kind of thing that really turns my stomach. Grade: A- ===Age=== Megumi is a high school student. This overall would give her a pretty good score, but we also know that she's currently a second year student (the manga started with her in the first year). Her birthday is also on July 7th which is cool. I can't help but keep thinking of how amazing the Dragon Ball series would be if it was made today. It would easily be within the top 10 of my all time anime. I understand that this is a very old show. And I don't hate it. In fact, I'm glad that this show exists. If this show didn't exist then maybe anime wouldn't be what it is today. I can't imagine how exciting it must have been to be an 80s kid, rushing home after school to watch the latest episode of their favorite hero go on another adventure. I would have loved it that's for sure. Having recently rated Dragon Ball, I have kept this in mind. Yes, this anime loves to make you wait and acts like you don't have a brain. It can be very slow and can make you feel like they are constantly pointing out obvious things. Kinda like what the show Dora does. But then I realized this is what TV shows used to be like. Anime wasn't really a thing back then. It's nothing like what it is today. Dragon Ball created its own formula. Or perhaps it gathered basic plots from movies and television dramas at the time. But created its own genre. Made its own twist to its beloved show. And now some companies have managed to master their plots into the shows they make. Not many shows make you constantly wait for something to happen (unless its filler then...). The way stories in anime are told have evolved. And I believe Dragon Ball was the start of a successful anime show. Dragon Ball created a fun TV show for people to watch in the 80s. And it clearly did its job well. However, the wait now is just painful sometimes. I want more! I can't help but feel what it must have been like to be what I believe is an '80s kid' sitting down on the couch next to a giant television and waiting for something to happen as my jaw slowly drops when it does. Also discussing it with my friends in school and waiting another day to see the adventure continue. I feel like so much could be done with Dragon Ball before a main boss appears. So much wasted time if this was an anime today. However, this formula they made worked back then. And maybe for some it still works. It brought people back everyday waiting for the episode to arrive. It was something new. Unique. Amazing! It will always be the legendary show that started it all. I wonder is Dragon Ball Super is any good :o I don't really know what this blog was but. I just wish there could be a new show like Dragon Ball but that would have to be a show that would change anime once again. And I guess Dragon Ball Kai tried to make the show suitable for today's generation but. It just doesn't feel right... I hope Dragon Ball Super has tried to change their formula a little. Nevertheless, its been amazing to be able to see the show that started it all... Thanks Dragon Ball <3
