golden time dub

I know that I'm kinda late on this, but yesterday I was scrolling through the web, and I almost pooped my pants. After six long years, Golden time finally got a dub. I just started watching it today, and it took me back all the way to when I first watched it in 2013. As of what I've seen, the voice actors are pretty good.

My manga list = pleb tier. Just garbage. Worthless collection of doodles in squares. But maybe if I had enough works in it written by boomers, it'd really have some prestige. Everyone knows quality died with hair metal and new wave. Everything after that is a damp rope stuffed in a dumpster. I'm going to fix that. This will be a challenge to myself. To read 20 manga written during the 1980s or older. I can't finish a manga while doing this challenge unless it fits that time period. Here are the manga that will lead me to salvation: 1. Cipher 2. hi im watching The Irishman if you need me Currently at 96% on Rotten Tomatoes Also please note THIS FILM IS FUCKING THREE HOURS LONG NOT EVEN THREE HOURS LONG THREE /AND A HALF/ HOURS LONG I feel like that's really worth noting... so does everybody else lol - > Bocce No idea what this is Googled it; looked at images. Still no idea what it is. Hopefully it's not important to know how to play it I hope. - OH GOD IM SORRY I AM SO SO SORRY BUT OMG THIS FILM WAS SOO BORING I only made it to 26 minutes in and yeah by that time there's a lot of violence and shootings going on but UGH omg it's sooo slow Netflix had the words "Slow Burn" on screen when my mouse hovered over the film thumbnail, you know, before I played it and UGH slow burn is right I'm going to have to watch something else now I guess it really makes more sense to turn this into a television show than a film honestly but ugh honestly if this really was in that TV format I probably wouldn't watch it though... ahaha... I'm going to watch something light and airy and cartoon like Trolls or something...

It's been on my list for years to watch. With Netflix adding it to their menu I thought now would be a good time. Death Note has certainly lived up its reputation. At about halfway through the anime it's taken a sudden righthand turn. I might give it a rewatch before continuing. What I really don't get though is why Light never just stopped. He could have. At any time.

Automated spreadsheet for Yearly MAL Challenges Based on last year's sheet with updated tweaks for it not spam MAL's servers. Link to spreadsheet

How to use:

Fill the top right section with the information you'll use on both the 'MAL2020' and 'CompteRendu' tabs
Select an anime / manga you'll be using for the challenge
Choose on the corresponding MAL2020 spreadsheet which topic you'll use it for
Copy the prepared tags (from the L column), and add it to the selected anime / manga personal tags on MAL
If the topic expects you to add more information or screenshots; put it into the H/I columns
To force an update; click on the big REFRESH button
When it's time to export your participation form; simply copy / paste the post from the 'CompteRendu' tab into the forum

Pros:

Copy/paste the prepared tags into the anime you're planning to use and every public data will be filled in the sheet
Almost nothing to do except watching anime / reading manga

Cons:

It uses google apps' subset of javascript to run queries and everything gets awfully long there, just update and come back later
On items like 2019's '(I.29) Finish an anime you put on-hold or dropped on or before July, 2018', the starting date is private, you have to set it yourself

NB: As of when I write this post the 2020 edition hasn't been published yet, the format may change, the tiers will probably disappear and then building the whole forum post will be broken. The core functions of parsing your list will still work and I hope I'll get the sheet done (teehee) by the next weekend. You may report any issue you encounter as you're probably not the only one impacted.
