I don't rate them by all this fancy mumbo jumbo about what an anime should have and shouldn't; with all these technical terms and what not, because frankly, I don't understand it. The only things that my scores are based on are one thing - ENJOYMENT. Oh, one more thing, there are levels to my scores. Meaning, it isn't a mere "8," it'd be "8.1,""8.2,""8.3." Like that. And ".3" is the highest I go. So here we go.
- 4 / I've never watched an anime that was so horrible it deserved one of these numbers, yet, at least.
/ I'd give an anime this score because I would think it wasn't good enough for a 6.
/ 6's aren't good at all. It could be 1 or more these reasons why I gave it this score. First, because I couldn't get into it at all. And, if I can't get into something, I'm forcing myself to watch it because I don't like dropping animes. Second, it didn't deserve a 7, probably because I didn't enjoy it that much. Third, because it was just "fine," nothing more, nothing less. An example of the first reason would be Sword Art Online or Bakemonogatari.
/ I would have to like something about it if its a 7. 7's are good. Anything 7 or greater is pretty damn good in my book.
/ "Great!" Yes! With 8's I'd have to enjoy myself watching almost every episode. Something has to stand out to be an 8, for me. But, this isn't necessarily the case for every eight.
/ Close to perfect, but not quite. I'd love/like almost everything about it. But, there's one or two things that would cause it to be a 9. Or, maybe it's because I only give my favorite anime 10's? Hmmmm, nope, I don't think so. Death Note deserved a 9 because that pitiful ending ruined it.
/ Simply perfection! Masterpieces. I love everything about 10's. From the characters, premise; zenbu!
