Before he died, his loyalty was for Ulster and Ulster only. He was willing to sacrifice his well-being and even his life for a chance at an Ulster-Connacht Peace Treaty, knowing full well that it would be his downfall. Now that he's been summoned, his loyalty will first be to the Master that summoned him. Even if said Master was killed and their Command Seals were stolen by another. Cu Chulainn will not forget his first Master, and will actively try to take revenge.
Easy Going
Outside of battles and the general killing of others that is the Grail War, Cu Chulainn is actually a friendly sort of person once you get to know him. His favourite hobby is fishing, an activity that doesn't exactly require much moving about. He's a great conversation partner if you talk to him, though he does have a tendency to blab his mouth before actually thinking of a response.
Battle Mad
Meet Cu Chulainn in battle though, and you will find a completely different man. He's the kind of person that enjoys battle more than any rational person should, though Chulainn will hardly consider such people 'rational' anyway. For him, Joy is battle is normal. He will whip himself into a frenzy if need be, laughing all the way.
A Man of his Words
Cu Chulainn is not the type of man to back down from his words. When he was young, he slew the hound of a smith named Culann in Self-Defense. After realizing his mistake, he promised to the smith that he would guard his property as his hound until a replacement could be reared. And he made good on that promise. Years later, he accepted the proposal made by the Connacht Queen Medb, because it would benefit Ulster, despite said proposal being the harbinger of his ruin.
