This is the Two-hundred-and-thirty-second week of using the "Perfect Anime Girl Sheet". Notice: This Blog may contain Unmarked Spoilers.
Welcome back everyone. Unfortunately, unlike past years, I won't be having a special Mother's Day blog this year. Instead, due to story reasons I'll postpone that until early next month.
Speaking of the story, let's join it already in progress-
???: Finally I've found you, you-you PERVERT!
Who is that? *Topaz turns to look. He sees a somewhat tall girl with long hair pointing at him and scolding*
???: I'm the head of the Public Morals Committee in this school, and I've heard that there's an intruder in this school. Now that I've found you, I'll have to escort you out for such s-shameless acts of talking about high school girls in such a perverse manner!
I've been a- well I have said a few perverse things, but otherwise I've been a perfect gentleman! And wait... "Shameless"? There's only ONE character I know of who has that as a catchphrase...
YUI KOTEGAWA!
*The tall girl is taken aback by her name being called, but continues*
: Listen Topaz or whatever your name is, I can't allow adults like you come in and bother the students so I'll have to ask you to leave!
I have permission from both the school and the girls themselves!
: Ugh, I bet that you asked that stupid principal, didn't you... But now that I've found you you'll have to stop your SHAMELESS blogs!
I don't think that will work. You're not the first girl to try to get me to stop my blogs, and most of those were far more powerful than you are.
: Well, if I can't get you to stop blogging I can at least kick you out of this school as it's not like you're a student or teacher. *yanks on Topaz's arm.*
Hold on, I'm losing my balanccceeee! *Topaz topples over on top of Yui's body, his face pressed against her chest.* Hmmm, soft!
: SHAMELESS PERVERT!
It's not my fault your is like a magnets to perverse shenanigans! I suppose that's what happens when your body is so ironically shameless. *squeezes Yui's butt trying to get up but lingers his hand there for a moment.*
: You-you shameless pervert! Unhand me right now!
Aww, but your cute embarrassed voice sounds so cute! Though I'll let you go if you promise to let me continue blogging...
: Grrr, if it means that you'll stop such s-shameless behavior I'll allow you to finish your stupid internet blogs.
Well then, let's see who today's blog is about...
: WHAT! You said that you'd stop doing shameless things to me if I allowed you to blog, I wasn't expecting you'd be talking about ME!
But you're the girl closest to me (location wise)!
: *embarrassed* W-well, I suppose that if I'm THAT close to you I can't complain about your shameless words. Fine then, I'll allow you to continue with your blog. Don't make me regret my decision!
Head
Hair: Yui has really nice hair for my tastes. Her hair color depends on if you're looking at the manga or anime, as in the former it's usually black while the anime portrays her as having brown hair. Either way, the color is one of my favorites and is a nice dark shade. It also helps that she doesn't have it up very much, keeping it flowing and long. Her hair reaches her lower back which looks beautiful as well.
Yui does have some flaws though. In the manga (or at least the images I've seen) her hair does look a little stringy (though that may just be due to her being wet). There is also her bangs. I'm not just talking about them because she lacks a hime cut and I do sort of enjoy her hair hanging nicely. However, she NEEDS her bangs. During one episode she bends over backwards and her bangs lean more towards the top of her head. Quite literally, she looked EXTREMELY generic with her forehead showing. I can't say why, but I don't like her appearance with her bangs gone.
Grade: A-
Eyes: Yui has amber-colored eyes. On occasion they look brown, but nowhere as dark as her hair is. I'm not a huge fan of the color (at least, on non-KDEGs) so there's that. Her eyes ARE fairly soft looking, especially in the anime as Xebec did the art for it. That said, sometimes they make her eyes too large for her face. Onto the shape of her eyes, she tends to have a more curved look with points in the corners. Her eyes are noticeably less curved in the manga, with her points being near the top of her eyes. It is unfortunate that her eyes are like that though, as having a Tsurime would make her more intimidating and more beautiful in my eyes (pun not intended but appreciated).
Grade: B-
Face: Yui has a cute, puni face fitting the art style. It's soft-looking like her eyes while her cheeks are also fairly pronounced. Yui having small features is also always a plus as well. She's also has a relaxed smile, even if she rarely shows it (someone needs to be stern to keep everyone in line). The one bad thing about Yui is, as I said before, her tendency to look somewhat "generic" due to her looking so similar to other characters in the series (which is possibly one reason Mikan's hair became brown).
Grade: A-
Body
Build: Yui has a very nice build. It's even said by the other characters that it's silly for her to have such a "shameless" body herself! She's not quite shapely enough for me to give a perfect score here, but I like to imagine that she'll get like that in a few years. But getting back to how she looks currently, she's still a very sexy girl. She has a nice waist and hips and especially butt (though it could stand to stick out a bit more). Her thighs are also nice, but I'd still say that her butt is her strongest (non-breast) point. Her butt is even one of my favorites, though again she could stand to make it bigger. She also has smooth-looking skin, as you should be aware of by the "gleam" that's on her on occasion. Yui also has a slight belly, though that may just be due to the art style. Yui's official measurements are 88-59-87 cm (35/23/34) and she's 162cm (5'4") tall and weighs 51 kg (112 lbs). Finally, the last topic is more a series complaint than anything. You see, due to the "groundbreakingly" perverse nature of To LOVE-ru they like to think of different perverse things to do. One thing that the Darkness series enjoys showing off is... vaginas. Not literally, but there's at least a few instances where the audience (and Rito) get a good shot between Yui's legs and her most private of all areas. We never actually see her vagina either but we HAVE seen her vulva/labia being spread. I say this because, well, while I DO like girls for being girls I'm not fond of seeing their "flower gardens", so to speak. Unfortunately, the series as a whole tends to be leaning towards showing more and more off, but I'd much rather see Yui's breasts and butt than the area between her legs.
Grade: A-
Breasts: Yui has some very nice-sized breasts. They're big, but not overly so to make her seem unshapely. 88 cm is a fine size for a girl her age, at least as far as I think. She also has small-ish nipples, at least as far as the anime is concerned.
However, there are two things I dislike about Yui's chest. The first is that it's not exactly consistent in all scenes. While they aren't as foolish to make her flat, there are moments when she looks smaller than "usual". Or maybe it's backwards and her breasts are bigger sometimes and I'm being too optimistic. Either way, there needs to be a bit more consistency in her size. The second problem is that she has a bit of a "sag" in the anime. I like perky breasts and the art style, despite being one of my favorites, isn't great at showing off that factor. Because of this, I find Yui slightly more attractive when she has a bra or bikini top than being topless. She DOES have nice breasts and the drooping does make her body seem more detailed and closer to reality, but it is something that I'm not fond of.
Grade: B+
Clothes: Yui does end up in a wide variety of outfits. Her usual, as this is a school-based anime (mostly) is her school uniform. It consists of a yellow sweater-vest with black lines around the sleeves and neck over a white short-sleeved shirt. She also has a blue bow tie around her neck and a plaid green skirt. During winter the uniform is instead a long-sleeved button up jacket (though still yellow) over a long-sleeved white shirt. I prefer the latter, but that's just me liking business-like outfits more. That said, I'm not fond of the coloring as I'm not fond enough of yellow to enjoy it on a uniform. She also wears respectable underwear (well, as good as they do her) and black socks that don't even reach her knee. At one point she wears a modified version intended for another character (in a way, but that's a different blog entirely). This adapted version has a heart-shaped symbol with spiral eyes on the tie and shows the stomach. It also has thigh-highs (though the tops are a little unusual) and white opera-like gloves.
That said, I like most of her other outfits more. She wears a very respectable bikini and yes, she supports herself well. More girls need swimsuits like she wears. Speaking of swimsuits, she also wears a school swimsuit. While not bad, I wouldn't say that it's too extraordinary or impressive (though at one point she fixes her butt. That's worth mentioning). In official art (and possibly some episode that I'm forgetting) she wears a very beautiful blue kimono/yukata. Though one problem is that she is showing more cleavage that she probably should in that outfit. There are also pictures of her wearing just a white shirt and panties, so go her being able to pull that look off well. She also wears an orange China dress in one of the specials. The characters go through a video game world (heavily based off Dragon Warrior series) and Yui is the monk-type character. Her top, predictably, also pops open wearing this. Also, at one point the male lead is able to put her into one of the most revealing outfits by just covering her with whipped cream. Don't ask how (as it involves the plot of that episode). I'm not big on food-as-clothing but this scene was impressive as it showed that the male lead has SOME perversion (or that the machine was going more haywire than expected). I also liked the cute cat ears as well. That gets me to my last point. Yui is seen quite a bit in the nude or near-nude. Whether it's getting dressed or wearing a towel, we do see a lot of her body. Though that's just because To Love-ru is an ecchi franchise I suppose, and one of the most perverse ones.
Grade: A
Mind
Personality: Yui is the Head of Sainan High School's Public Morals Committee and thus takes it onto herself for everything to be proper and decent. This trait is MUCH stronger in her introduction in the anime, going so far as to give the male lead (Rito) his own classroom as that seemed to be the only way to keep girls from speaking to him (or worse, like physical contact). Yui also tries to deny her sexuality, but it doesn't work (if anything it just causes fate to give her MORE fanservice). She does calm down after that and is a slightly calmer person overall in Darkness (though she still scolds people for being perverse). Speaking of her "scolding", her favorite word seems to be to call people "shameless". As far as explaining the reasoning behind her extremely conservative views, it may have to do with her older brother Yuu. Yeah, Yuu and Yui, their parents were geniuses it seems. But anyway, Yuu is a playboy/lady's man and that may be why Yui tries to avoid guys. Another reason is when she was in fifth grade and, as a class rep, had because of how violent, insensitive and above all shameless they can be and stated that they caused her much hardship as a class rep in 5th grade, because of this she thinks that any kind love and romance is shameless since it meant being close with a boy. Her view of this changes slightly when she initially first met Rito, though that's not explained until Darkness (it turns out that she knew Rito when they were kids, though he doesn't realize it).
Outside of being a "prude", Yui also has another problem. She's a textbook example of a tsundere. This means things such as refusing to admit her love for Rito (well, she admitted it to herself, but I mean out loud). She doesn't have a lot of experience with boys and it really shows in her actions. This means that she's not as "aloof" as most Tall, Dark, and Beautiful girls which is unfortunate for my tastes. She does like cats though, which is cute. She has a lot of cat-based merchandise such as books, stuffed toys, and decorations around her room. She also has a fair voice as well, it's nice if it's not screaming or scolding.
Now don't get me wrong, I do like Yui. She's probably my favorite To Love Ru character (excluding possibly Rin, who didn't get development until Darkness, and of course Tearju (who IS my favorite, but only appeared in Darkness). I like how authoritative she is. What I don't like is the fact that she's a tsundere as that archetype is pretty overused now (not that I liked it that much in the beginning). So while I like her looks, she's not exactly my favorite personality wise.
Grade: B-
Libido: As I said previously, Yui is a TSUNDERE. Not only that, but she is against having a relationship with boys. Despite this, she does fall for Rito and is one of the many characters in a "harem plan", involving marrying him to all of his admirers. She won't admit her love easily though, like most girls like her. Even with her constantly denying her love, she still has a few scenes where she basically tells Rito to have his way with her if he promises not to do shameless things to other girls. She even imagines what it would be like to marry and have Rito's children while being assertive that the chocolate she's making for him is only OBLIGATORY chocolate. So the problem isn't that she isn't perverse, it's more that she refuses to act on it as well as finding relationships with boys problematic.
Grade: B-
Age: At first I didn't know what Yui's age was so I was going to say that she's a generic high school student. After some research though, I found out her age: 16. That's understandable, but I only heard this secondhand so I'm not sure if that's her correct age. Her birthday is also May 3, so happy late birthday to her!

So how was that? Was it as perverse as you thought, Yui?
: It's not too shameless, though you should still be ashamed about saying such things about me. *Yui attempts to cover her body with her arms as well as she can, but her curvy body isn't agreeing with her.*
Don't hide your body, that will only cause your clothes to fly off or something!
: Now what are the chances of that happening!
Knowing To Love-ru, pretty good... But if you excuse me I should be finishing up this week's blog and-
????: NOT SO FAST TOPAZ!
*Topaz rolls away from a loud crash and lands on Yui's soft body*
: EEEEEE!
What's happening?
*A giant hole in the school building appears where the crash occurred. There stands a magical girl on the back of a giant gorilla.*
????: Like I said last week Topaz, I'm going to find you even if I tear this school in half!
*Topaz rolls to the side of Yui*
: S-Stop destroying the building! As the head of the Morale committee, I have to order you to cease your behavior!
You alright, Yui? You're looking a little red.
: Of course I am. Obviously t-this is some type of dream, right? It's not like an ACTUAL giant ape is destroying the school, right? All I have to do is faint and aaaahhh- *Yui attempts to faint, but hits her head which awakens her* Ow ow ow!
????: Ahahaha! You should know by now that this girl is no match for me! Now, Gorilla monster, use your sword to destroy him!
*The beast turns his eyebrow up at the mysterious magical girl's request and lets out a grunt of question.*
????: JUST DO IT!
*The beast now holds his hand like a weapon and creates a magical metal blade out of thin air. It looks just as surprised as Topaz.*
Well, this is a predicament... Quick Yui, do something!
*Yui, having successfully knocked herself out using a stool continues to "faint".*
????: It looks like this will be the end, Topaz!
*The beast swings its sword upward and attempts to drive it into the internet blogger. He covers his eyes in fear. A metallic sound is heard....*
*When Topaz opens his eyes, he sees a cat-eared Samurai driving away the monster's blade.* ????: Y-You! What is a youkai like YOU doing here?!
: Fufufufu... You should know better than to attack my master. Thou truly must be ignorant to not know I am his guardian!
HIMARI!

*When Topaz opens his eyes, he sees a cat-eared Samurai driving away the monster's blade.* ????: Y-You! What is a youkai like YOU doing here?!
