This was by far one of my favorite animes of the Fall season. Not only did this show manage to deliver an anime that is basically about a Utopia that has gone corrupt, it managed to have amazing character development alongside an outstanding plot.
To me, Psycho Pass completely fulfilled what is was aiming for, they have something called a Sibyl System which makes this perfect society with perfect and absolute rules, but then there is a loop-hole and this anime is about what happens during that time of crisis.
Akane and Kogami where by far my 2 favorite characters, at first glance they seem like opposite sides of the coin, but as the show goes on they almost become an inseparable duo with a fatal flaw to add as a twist. They are each pushed foward by their own motives and each have their own troubles but they manage to somehow pull through almost everything together.
Aside from that also having the use of "Enforcers" who are people who's hue is above the average and are considered criminals shows how developed society has been by being able to use humans who have done wrong, but are given a second chance.
I would absolutely recommend this anime to anyone looking for a good futuristic, horror, violent anime and for an awesome show!
