[Anime] Supernatural The Animation
Первое устоявшееся впечатление было смешанное и наверно ближе к негативному. Американ-стайл - хорошо, любопытно что раскадровка как будто более "физическая", чем обычно в аниме (потому что частично списана с лайв экшена? кажется, что здесь сильнее упор на движения и действия персонажей). Графика любопытная и местами реально красивая (некоторые девушки просто загляденье; из минусов - порой не очень понятно, что должны передавать выражения лиц). Ну и имеется живенький тандем с яойным потенциалом... Но вот подход к, собственно, сверхъестественному частенько расстраивал полной хрестоматийностью, неспособностью сделать с древними архетипами что-то свежее или хотя-бы богатое на детали и чувства. В основном меня в этот период интересовали наименее мрачные серии (про доброго каппу, про смешного бога бедности и т. д.): они выгодно выделялись на фоне попсовых мистических сюжетиков и смотрелись приятнее.
А потом вдруг стало заметно, что сериал то растёт. Кусочки предыстории накопились и начали складываться в уже внушительную картину, прошедшие эпизоды оказались важными для развития отношений героев, происходящее становилось всё серьёзнее и наконец вылилось в потрясную сцену самопожертвования отца, сдавшегося тому, кого он так мечтал уничтожить. В этот момент Supernatural меня немножко покорил: я понял как симпатична мне эта несчастная семья и ощутил настоящий трепет перед грозным дьяволом, прямо таки источающим ужас и понимание того, насколько человечество бессильно против него. Отличный злодей и отличная смерть, сплотившая братьев и вообще выводящая произведение на какой-то новый уровень убедительности. Так часто я ругаюсь на смерти в искусстве, мало чего в них вижу помимо дешёвых попыток шокировать или вызвать слёзы... Авторы "Сверхъестественного" от подобной лажи отдалились максимально далеко и оставили меня очень довольным. Классно у них получилось.

Why People Travel Overseas For Treatment
What comes to your mind when you think of treatment abroad?
For many, medical tourism is associated with dental treatment during summer vacation. While it may be true for some, treatment abroad is more versatile and many-faceted than ever before. So, why people travel away from their home to get medical help? Let's find out together.

1. Affordability. As easy as that. For example, a woman from Chicago wants to have her breasts enlarged where the procedure costs around US$9,000. Unlike reconstructive surgery (after breast cancer or trauma), her future boob job wouldn't be covered by her health insurance. Therefore, she turns to less costly options which can be found in Thailand or Indonesia for US$3,000-4,000.
Similar situation can be observed with joint (knee, elbow, shoulder, ankle) replacement: US$34,000 in the US and US$9,000 in Lithuania for knee replacement.
The reason why healthcare in certain countries is less expensive than, say, in the UK, Canada, New Zealand, or Switzerland is because the overall govenmental taxes are lower which means cheaper labor, real estate, etc.
2. Accessability. Who would want to wait for heart surgery for 5 months? Not many. And, when you contact hospitals and specialized clinics in Spain, Singapore, or Poland, they'll ask you about the preferred date of your initial appointment. Feel the difference?
Also, such treatments as stem cell therapy and surrogacy are considered illegal or lack no evidence as per their efficiency in most of the English-speaking world. That's another reason why hopeless cancer patients or infertile couples Google treatment options outside their homeland.
3. Safety. Just a quick explanation here. After VIP pharma guys in developing countries have figured that the number of their citizens seeking medical help abroad increases steadily each year, they started to perpetuate a stereotype that undergoing treatment abroad is risky and unsafe. The myth worked well on those who dislike traveling and benefiting from new experiences and received many applauses.
However, it wasn't until a few years ago that insurance companies have calculated that they can save a bunch of cash expanding medical tourism coverage and sending their clients overseas for treatment. And that's including the round-trip flight and housing.
Now back to safety. Reputable hospitals in popular medical tourism destinations such as Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Lithuania, Turkey, Spain, Germany, and Israel are immensely interested in international patients. And while the word of mouth in medicine is the most reliable marketing channel, facilities in these locations are equipped with world-famous brands like Samsung, Phillips, Karl Storz, etc.
Also, most medical teams in medical tourism destinations complete training courses on a regular basis. They also attend international conferences and workshops to stay updated on the latest medical innovations and techniques.

Every Fafner's installment should have Military and Action tags added to it, much like Right of Left, the only Fafner I left out exactly because it already has them.
Why:
Action: abundance of it, obviously. Only 2004 TV series has some calmer episodes (mostly in the first cour) but of course still remains packed with action, while Exodus hardly has any episodes bereft of action (amount of battles can even get exhaustive if you watch it all at once). Movie is very action packed and considerable amount of special is one big, chaotic battle.
Military: it is one of those Mecha series where not only mecha can fight the enemies. For example, in the final battle of 2004 TV series submarines and various aircrafts are used to great effect. In every Fafner you will find your usual troopers, missiles, standard guns still in use, aircrafts, submarines etc.
