As I said before, I ordered a whole bunch of anime for me to watch. For some reason, I'm treating anime like games; read reviews, decide if it's worth buying, then do it. I know you can watch some anime online and in a legal way but for some reason I'm against stuff like that. Weird isn't it?
Anyway the first anime I knew I was going to watch out of those I ordered was The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I had heard about it earlier this year and after it was referenced in almost every episode of Lucky Star, with the cosplay cafe skit having the most references, I knew it was time for me to watch it. It's a pretty interesting anime. I wasn't expecting it to be so story-driven at least in the beginning but it gets to the point right away. That's the problem I had with Tsuritama; the story came way too late in the series. All of the chracters are pretty interesting especially Yuki Nagato. She looks like she'll have a very important role to play by the end of the series. At least that's my guess.
I'm still undecided about what series to go for next after this; I should finish the entire Haruhi Suzumiya series by the end of this weekend... Well actually, when I watch the second season of Haruhi Suzumiya, I'm going to watch it along with the first season just like how they did it in Japan. This way I can follow the story in chronological order. I'm probably going to go for Kanon next followed by Chobits. But we'll see what happens.
