I just finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist the other day. In some ways it surpassed the hype that I heard about it from other people, and in some ways it fell short. At least for me anyways. I liked the characters and the story line. I like how you can see Edward and Alphonse grow and change throughout the series and you are apart of it. I have to say though I was really disappointed with the ending..only because the whole time I was watching it I was like okay, yeah Al's going to get his body back, its going to be awesome. I wasn't really worried about Ed's arm and leg, I mean he seems to get along just fine with them, and they even seem to help him out a lot. But then Ed gets sucked into the world beyond the gate and when Al gets his body back he doesn't remember anything that happened the last 4 years? I mean a LOT happened to Ed and Al in those four years..they grew closer together and shared many crazy experiences and definitely both grew from them...I think its stupid that Al isn't going to remember any of that...And how is Ed supposed to get back to his world? Haha these are just my random rantings, but these are the things that went through my head after it was over. Guess I will have to watch Brotherhood next. I really enjoyed a lot of the soundtrack of this series too...The fourth and final opening theme was definitely my favorite...Rewrite by Asian Kung Fu Generation..Good stuff.
Anywho...and so continues my search for awesome anime. (:
