First of all, I'm new here and I've never really written anything on the internet or anything like that, not to mention that this will most likely be ignored by most of you, but I just have something to ask.
I know that everyone keeps saying that its to big of a dream to become a published manga artist in japan, but I just can't forget about this dream. I know that it would take a lot of work and practice and money on my part, but it's the only thing I can see me doing with my future.... I've done so much research, looking all over the internet for advice, and its not likely that I'll get any here, but where do I start? I mean, I draw all the time and I'm slowly improving and I have the materials, but I've never done paneling or inking, and my story ideas aren't the most creative. And the worst part is, I haven't even started seriously learning Japanese! When I consider all of the factors, like living expenses, food and medical bills, and just enough talent to make my debut, I wonder if it's really worth the risk? But as always I can't stop thinking about this dream. What I really want to know is if anyone thinks that I can actually pull it off? Please give me an honest answer.
