First Impressions of TWGOK Season 3

As exciting as the first episode one was, I was a bit skeptical if they could keep the wonderful gaming humor that's such a great theme throughout this anime. But after watching the last two episodes and laughing my ass off, I"m confident they've managed to change some of the settings and the premise but retain the great flavor that makes The World God Only Knows so entertaining. They added a lot more slap-stick humor of seeing Keima get smashed, kicked, and punch but there's plenty of other gaming references that so far have preserved what I find so enjoyable about the series. Anyways, I'm glad to have picked it up this season. I was lucky I watched the specials before picking this up as both the specials, the Tenhri and the 4 people and an idol establish the settings for season 3. I'd definitely recommend watching those before starting season 3's goddesses arc. I actually really enjoyed the first series, so seeing Shiori and Kanon was especially cute. In general so far, I think the great thing about this series is it really kicks off into the plot without spending too much time re-introducing the girls. It's also really great to see Haqua again. x33 Off to catch up on more episodes. x3
