I was wondering about one thing, which seems to be quite interesting - namely: the ''japonisation'' process in my hometown's society. I don't know why people thing Japan is that interesting, of course I don't want to say that it isn't but I want to focus on one factor: does anime reflect the real Japan and Japanese people? I have to say that a lot of people think it does and they are, unfortunately, wrong.
the first thing: Japanese society and Japanese people in anime very frequntly are idealized and glorified (or, on the other hand, anime shows bad features of Japanese society) so we can't say that the image of Japan is close to the reality. People forgot about it.
the second thing: the main funcion of anime is entertaining wachers (even if it depends on the type of the anime, it's still the the most important to make wachers interested).
The essential question is: do you want to watch a film about your country, living there? I think it woudn't be so interesting and exciting, it would rather make you bored than intersted.
the thrd thing: people which live out of Japan think that that country has no problems, you know, the heaven with a lot of nice things, including an amazing new technology and a lot of shops with manga. But it's not like that. Japan has a lot of problems and each enthusiast of Japan have to be aware of it.
Thing which annoys me the most - people don't know Japan. They thing that the Internet and anime are best sources of information and knowledge about this country. I'm not a specialist and I don't want to sound like a specialist, but I just wanted to write about it, because I think it's a good place to share my opinion with you.
If you want to know Japanese - visit Japan, talk with Japanese people, read books about Japan, learn Japanese. Anime and manga are just the small part of Japanese pop-culture and can't show you everything what Japan offers.
why have I added ''Naruto'' to "anime relations''? because it's the most popular anime in my country.
