So I been trying to finish up some of the anime I haven't finished yet like Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san and a Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 so I can shorten up my watchlist. Today I randomly picked up Kaichou wa Maid-sama again. I thought it'd be kinda awkward since I was a bit rusty with the plot but it turned out really well.
I found the Sakura at the beginning of the episode super cute though I suppose all girls that blush tend to look cute..lol x3 Though I didn't remember who she was, the episode was quick to remind me that she was one of the main character's friends. I never realized till after this episode that Sakura was played by Hanazawa, Kana. Which explains my natural inclination to want to cuddle her to death from sheer high-pitched cuteness. I'm not sure why higher pitched girlie voices sound more attractive (lolicon?) but they do. Actually I know I'm not a lolicon after watching....I don't remember which anime or episode.... I wanna say Kore wa Zombie desu ka and was traumatized lol. x3 I think I wrote about it somewhere but I'd probably have to dig it up. Anyways where was I? Oh yeah, zomg seeing Sakura so into that band dude and talking about him 24/7 being all giddy and happy all the time was super infectious...but then again her voice is super infectious...xD Anyways it was all smiles and funny jokes in this anime until it started to get dark..which has become one of Kaichou wa Maid-sama's trademark plot formats before Usui comes to the rescue. This time it was a really funny rescue. One of these days if I ever have to step in for a girl I'm gonna try saying I'm not her boyfriend, just a stalker..LOL That was pretty funny. x3 The plot twist followed by the awesome but repetitious music as she defended one of her friends and classmates and confronted the bad guy was entertaining. And I always like how they turn the dark mood much more lighter and it almost reminds me of a cop show sorta....justice has been served!!
Anyways, if since I"ve been constantly being dragged down in negativity that is the car-wreck-that-I-can't-turn-my-eyes-from that is called Kimi no iru Machi, the first worst possible scenario I was thinking of when that vocalist was ignoring Sakura and being so cruel --I felt so bad for her =(-- was that she would come to be jealous and HATE Misaki. But when she instead lost it and defended her instead I really was both surprised and relieved. I thought the development and pacing was really good. They made good use of the 3rd girl yelling at both of them which was really amusing and the use of the patting with Usui in the restaurant followed by both comforting Sakura and becoming more aware of her own feelings for him was a really great plot device.
I'm glad the episode ended in a good mood. I don't think I can take more than one train-wreck drama in one season. =( Though come to think of it Uchouten Kazoku has been really sad recently too. Sigh I really hope Sakura finds a boyfriend soon too. Gambatte! Seeing her so happy all the time...reminds me of bittersweet pangs about a certain maid from last Halloween as well. =)
