I'm going to list off the references I noticed in the seventh episode of Hyperdimension Neptunia.
mk2 = second Hyperdimension Neptunia game
Victory = third Hyperdimension Neptunia game
1. In Victory, there are two game universes. Neptune's universe set in 2012, and Plutia/Pururut's set in the late 80's. Plutia/Pururut rules over Planeptune in her universe. Plutia/Pururut represents the Sega Mega Drive AKA the Sega Genesis. She's a slow and dense girl but she always treats her friends very well.
2. In Victory, Noire tells Plutia to never transform unless it's absolutely necessary.
3. The one thing Neptune can't handle is eggplants. The episode is based off a side part of Victory where Neptune attempts to conquer her fears of eggplants. I know there is some reference to video games from eggplants. The only one I can think of is Nintendo's Ice Climber game. But in Ice Climber, eggplants are a good thing.
4. Big Histoire and Little Histoire have the ability to communicate across dimensions. Little Histoire likes to add emoticons to her setences. Almost every single setence that Little Histoire uses in Victory ends with an emoticon.
5. In Victory, Peashy always wanted the pudding with Neptune's name on it. The pudding with Neptune's name on it ended up being important to getting the good or true ending of Victory.
6. As had been pointed out to me last week, the game Neptune is playing is most likely Mugen Souls or Mugen Souls Z, another series developed by Compile Heart and Idea Factory, the developers and creators behind the Hyperdimension Neptunia series.
7. Plutia likes to make dolls of everyone she becomes friends with. If you pay attention to the background, you can pick up on all of the new dolls she adds in. By the end of Victory, her room is full of dolls of all the characters in the game.
8. IF and Compa both get kidnapped in Victory. Compa once, IF, three times. The third time plays out exactly like the anime. After Arfoire/Magiquone kidnaps IF, she sets up camp at an eggplant farm and lures Neptune there. Until the Neptune arrives, she continually force-feeds IF eggplants. Unlike the anime when Neptune, Nepgear, and Plutia go to rescue IF, in the game Neptune goes alone.
9. The enemies Arfoire uses are the same enemies she uses in Victory.
10. When Plutia finally loses her cool, the thing she does with her doll produces a voodoo doll effect on her enemies. This is one of her special skills in Victory: Stress Release. It's one of her most powerful attacks.
11. Iris Heart is the exact opposite of Plutia. Iris Heart is incredibly sadistic. At several points in Victory, she has fun forcing her friends into uncomfortable situations like blackmailing Neptune and Noire, and torturing Nepgear. She shows her enemies absolutely no mercy and by the end of the game, almost every single villain quaked in fear of her. Even her friends all feared the reprecussions of her transformation since they never knew what she would do next.
12. Arfoire's final form in that fight with Neptune is the same as in the anime. Her eggplant form has no effect on Neptune and Arfoire is easily defeated.
13. Iris Heart's treatment of Pirachu/Warechu is the same as in the game.
14. After her kidnapping, IF also developed a phobia of eggplants just like in Victory.
15. After her defeat, Arfoire settled down to take care of the eggplant farm. She wasn't seen again in the game. I don't know if that means that she's done in the anime.
