Konoha no Hana: Prologue

Blood.So much fucking blood.Sakura grimaced.So many died,died around her.And she couldn't do anything for them.'Weak,so weak.' she thought in disdain about herself;'Still weak - not good enough.Never good enough.' lips were pressed thinly,set in a grim frown.The pinkette extends her arms,fingers spread;she takes a deep intake of breath,and her hands glow an eerie green.Petal-like chakra forms fall on the bloodied battlefield around her,healing everything they touch - what can be saved,anyway. But few survive,and many are already dead.'No;never good enough' . And just like that,something snaps;madness quietly takes over the soul of a war maiden,in the form of nihilism and sociopathy.Ninja and kunoichi alike watch,mesmerized,as the one they took to be the flower of Konohagakure heals those that can be saved."Greater than Tsunade,this girl will be" is the common thought.But no,she isn't and never will. 'Because Shishō was always good enough. ' Roars of cheer errupt;the war has been won.Naruto had finally succeeded in destroying Tobi - avenging the death of so many,so many innocents.Needless to say,Hinata is happy. Gently,Hiashi's eldest bandages the midsection of her beloved cousin,healing closed the wounds as she goes;Neji smiles,so rare of him,taking in the sight of his dear,dear nee,for Hinata-sama is truly the sister he never had.He gazes at the other woman around,pulling TenTen just the a little closer - she's fast asleep,and who knew she looks so sweet when she's resting?He brings up his hand,wiping stray hairs that had fell out of her twin buns away from her pretty face. "She might not be a noble,but TenTen-san is a beautiful woman,Neji-nii." Hinata quietly comments,as she finishes his bandage.Her cousin blushes faintly. "Yeah.She is,isn't she?" he agrees,moving his eyes from the future Hyuuga matriarch to perhaps his future...but no,he dares not say it;for happiness is so rare and easy to wipe... "Father will agree." his cousin simply says,as she rises from her spot;pretty much everyone in her area had been treated by her already.Neji's eyes widen,but he says nothing."Katsuyu-san." she calls,and the slug on her shoulder turns to her."Could you summon me on Tsunade-sama's side,if possible?" the girl asks,an unsure smile on her lips.A "poof!" later,she's gone. Tsunade curses everything she can think of.Incapacitated,for now,that's what she is.Well,atleast the brat got both Kabuto and Sasuke in custody;she'll have Sakura deal with the later,while Kabuto will be sealed and separated from her former teammate.Anko will be more than glad to absorb the bastard and teach him a lesson... Her train of thought is intrerrupted as Hinata pops next to her.The girl crouches,activating her Byakugan."What are you doing here,Hinata-chan?" the Kage asks.She's resting against a tree,one of the few intact in the area;the healed Kages are resting around her,most still unconscious. "Searching for any injuries I can find and heal,Hokage-sama." comes the response,and the Hyuuga's hands glow a soft green hue,as she envelops the older woman in a bodysuit of chakra."It will only take a minute;sorry if it won't heal you completely,I am afraid I'm a bit chakra d-deprieved." she quietly apologizes,and Tsunade is stunned by the accuracy of the girl's technique. "You have nothing to apologize for..."I think I have found my newest apprentice. Naruto sighed.It's been such a tiring,tiring experience.But finally - it was all over.Now he had only one more thing to do.His clones were everywhere checking up on everyone;thanks to Sakura,Hinata and Tsunade,everyone was healed and well.'Good.Soon is the time,' was his thought,as he vanished into thin air.Unknown to him,the eyes of his prisoners were intent on him,watching from the shadows - well,atleast one of them. Sasuke felt...tired.Surprised too,since the dobe was the one to get him,but tired for the biggest part.How had he known where he was hiding?That bastard of Madara or whatever must've told him...The last Uchiha looked around him;he was tied and sealed,and the same applied for Juugo,Suigetsu and Karin.Well...atleast he won't die alone. Later that night,they gathered in the headquarters.Konoha 11,the five Kage,Shizune and Anko well all here - plus the prisoners.Needless to say,none of the latter looked too happy. "We must decide what to do with them." a fatigued Tsunade spoke.Everyone nodded silently."I already had a plan in mind;since I know Naruto will by no means allow the death of those brats,we will keep them under supervision in Konoha.Since the Sharingan and their general abilities could be useful,we'll eventually integrate them in our troops.If they do something stupid,they die." she continued. "But how will you keep them in check?" the Mizukage inquired.The blonde woman smirked. "With a seal.It will keep their chakra in check,and supervise their movements;any killing intent from them on our side will be rewarded with a system shutdown.""Instant death..." the Raikage trailed off."Personally,I agree.""Same for me...and judging by everyone's expression,I would guess everyone does.But what about the snake?" Gaara asked,monotone as always.Tsunade smiled. "I will seal Orochimaru inside Anko,reversing the process of the curse.My guess is Kabuto will die once I'm done extracting the mass of chakra together with Orochimaru's consciousness and soul;they are quite bonded.If I sever the connection...""...his soul will probably be broken." Gaara finished for her.The Hokage nodded. "Does everyone agree?" Tsunade inquired,receiving nods in response."Well then.Sakura,you and Shizune will assist me in sealing;Hinata,think you can do a routine check-up on everyone and apply the seal on the rest on those four?""Hai,Tsunade-sama." came the response.All eyes were now on the Hyuuga heiress,as she caught the scroll the Hokage thrown over her shoulder as she exited the room together with the others. Hinata opened the scroll,quickly scanning its' contents.She smiled;it was easy enough to do."Well then,could everyone align,please?" she asked politely.Some grunted (the Raikage was not too happy with having this mousy-looking kunoichi touch him) but did as told.Hinata activated her Byakugan,earning a blink from the said Kage.Wasn't she the one some rogues from his village kidnapped from Konoha years ago...?She certainly looked so... Gaara was the first to be examinated.Hinata let her eyes roam over his form,eyes narrowing at how messed-up his tenketsu were.Saying nothing,she approached the Kazekage,fingers coated with the chakra of her family's treasured technique;the Gentle Fist.Who would have guessed the fearsome offense could serve as medical jutsu?The young heiress quickly jabbed various points in the redhead's body,adjusting the flow of energy inside the man.He blinked.His body suddenly felt so...refreshed,he guessed."...Thank you." he chose to say,as she finished adjusting his system.Hinata just smiled,coating her thumb with chakra,reaching for his cheek;she made a wiping motion,making the scar present there to disappear. "You are welcome,Gaara-sama." Sasuke was puzzled.He remembered Hinata,and he did well;but this...this woman sitting in front of him now wasn't anything like he remembered.She seemed more...confident.She didn't even blush or stutter,acting professional and healing clean everyone with ease;he had a feeling she would soon enough surpass both the blonde Hokage and his former teammate.Suddenly,the woman he was busy observing gasped. "TenTen...you're p-p-pregnant." she whispered,eyes wide.Needless to say,everyone went still;even Karin ceased what appeared to be her mental debate. "I'm WHAT?!" a flabbergasted kunoichi inquired,eyes wide as saucers and tanned face white.Neji seemed to feel lightheaded.Hinata turned to him. "W-w-why didn't you tell us sooner?" she inquired,glaring.Well,trying to - to everyone in the room it seemed like a cute pout. "She's so adorable!" Karin squealed in spite of herself,in a whisper.Suigetsu snorted. "I..." Neji trailed off.His cousin shook her head,finishing healing her friend. "D-don't stress it.I will inform father and we will make the preparations for a wedding;l-luckily the pregnancy is in an incipient s-state." Hiashi's eldest stated with a sigh.She crouched in front of Karin,smiling lightly."I will first check up your body,and then heal what I've been allowed to.Please bear with me." Karin was puzzled by the behaviour of this blue-haired girl.Very much so.But she nodded anyway,and soon enough felt soothing chakra coat her.It was such a nice flavored substance;it reminded her of pine trees,forests and sunny days on the seaside.Yet it was so floral,it was almost intoxicating.Strong,too,but gentle in a way.It was...exotic. Hinata finished her checkup,healing cuts,bruises and burns;she also adjusted some of the flow in the tenketsu,a bit surprised of how similar the flow was to the one Naruto possessed."Okay then,I will place the seal now.I don't think it will hurt..." she chimed,forming hand signs.Then,she placed her right hand,coated with chakra,on Karin's heart. The redhead felt an electric jolt travel trough her veins;she grimaced.The sensation wasn't that bad,but the foreign chakra invading her senses had...certain effects on her organism. "I'm sorry." Hinata sincerely mouthed the apology,smiling sadly at the woman.Karin returned it,once the shock of the now placed seal dispersed. "It's quite alright." Karin replied,as a muffled scream filled the building. Anko bit her lip,holding in the screams she wanted to let out so badly.She felt her former sensei's chakra creep inside her,trough the seal now moved between her breasts;the familiar chakra of the man she used to admire,of the man she used to love - of the man she wanted so badly to hate.And she did.But yet,the love was still there,somewhere. Orochimaru chuckled,now in his former student's mind."Tsunade is quite the genius,don't you agree,Anko-chan...Using the seal her grandmother made in order to seal the Kyuubi inside Kushina.""Fuck you." Anko spat.They were both somewhere in the depths of her psyhic - when did she faint,anyway? "I wouldn't mind that." the Snake Sannin genuinely smiled,chuckling at the seething,yet blushing woman in front of him."We'll be stuck together for a long,long while,anyway..." Sakura returned to the meeting room,together with Tsunade;Shizune was assigned to watch over Anko for the time being.She was surprised to see how still everyone was - soon,though,she found the reason.A smiling Hinata was trying to swat away the compliments pretty much everyone in the room was giving her.Even Sasuke seemed to gaze at the Hyuuga heiress with curiosity and perhaps appreciation. "Beautiful,strong and intelligent~This girl is simply dream-like!" Mei,the Mizukage,squealed.Gaara seemed to chuckle. "I am tempted to agree,Mei-san." the redhead agreed.Sakura dully noted that Team Taka had been set free,aswell;Hinata must've applied that seal,then. Naruto saw them entering,and smiled,somehow uneasy.He approached his pink-haired teammate,kneeling in front of her.Everyone stopped and watched,some smiling - they all had seen this coming,one day. "Sakura-chan...will you marry me?"
