So in contrast to my previous entry about utter failure in adapting. Episode 17 of Shingeki no Kyojin is an example of how a successful adaptation takes the source material and exceeds expectations. Not only did we get a better sense of the concept behind the operations but it also increased the excitement and tension. It was simply put, freaking amazing.
The pans, the zooms, the layouts, the colors changes and freezes all helped to put together what was going on in real-time.
Woot woot can't wait for the next episode.
