こんにちわみんなさん I'm going to list off all the references in the fourth episode. There weren't a lot of references this time though. mk2 = second Hyperdimension Neptunia game Victory = third Hyperdimension Neptunia game In general, this episode was the first half of mk2 in a nutshell. Just take out the fact that the younger sisters fought each other for the first half of the game and you've got the general idea. 1. The episode starts off reminiscent of the prologue of mk2. In mk2, Nepgear wants to stay and save the other goddesses but she overexerts herself and collapses which leads IF and Compa to retreat with her. 2. In mk2, just like the anime, Uni gets angry at Nepgear for leaving their sisters behind. But in the game, it takes a lot longer for Uni to make up with Nepgear and join her. 3. Compa mentions how there's a way to face computer characters in Vert's simulation game. IF mentions how it's normal for those kind of games to have computer-controlled opponents. Facing computer characters is standard in most fighting games for you to train against. 4. The younger sisters, Compa, and IF travel to rescue the goddesses. The island now actually reminds of the Gamindustri Graveyard, the place where the goddesses were held captive in mk2. The part where they all go to rescue them is similar in the game, but there's a couple of other characters that go with them in the game (Gust, Nisa) that don't appear in the anime. 5. Nepgear's transformation against the odds is simlar in the games, but in the games, the younger sisters can transform right from the beginning. Instead, at that part in the game, Nepgear gained more power and she powered up. In the anime, she transforms for the first time. For some reason, her weapon changes from a beam sword to a lazer gun when she transforms. I never understood that in the games but whatever. That's it for this episode. I want to believe there were a couple more but those were all the ones I recognized. Long story short, this was a recap of the first half of mk2. This episode shows why I love the yuonger sisters. They get a lot more development than the goddesses. また後で
