Here is my write up for this week. Sexualize
- Monogatari Series: Second Season ~ This to me is probably one of the best in the series. The transition is neater when it comes to the plot and a certain character isn't there either.
- Senki Zessho Symphogear G ~ At this point in time Symphogear is far better then the first season. I'll start off with the fact the story line still waxes the characters strange propaganda, so I'm hoping they don't go over board with the angst factor again. On the other hand we're getting to see the characters doing things other then fighting the noise and we're getting to see them interact more with people outside of their heroine group. The plot is so far progressing well, though the scientist being the bad guy again. Let's just say if there is a third set of bad guys that they have to fight I hope there one of the bad guys isn't a scientist and if they get a scientist involved they're not doing it from their own free will.
- Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou ~ I love how they give the main character a special ability that no one else has. She at first things that she would be able to use it to save them, but she finds herself unable to use that gift to actually save them, so she has to make the choice to use her gift in a different matter at this point. I'm glad that it was an instant fix like the main characters ability in Gatchman Crowds is.
- Free! ~ Haru's personality is as wonderful as ever. His mind gets to be so focused on the things he wants to focus on that things go over his head, like his emphasis that it is not freedom but free style. Also, their forth member flopping like he did straight into the water and not coming up was funny, not to mention kind of expected.
- Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi ~ Wow. Apparently this is going to be a major sob story before this is through. Of course, this is only if he's really dead. Of course, Scar would know if he was buried alive or not.
- Watashi Ga Motenai No Wa Dou Kagaete Mo Omaera Ga Waru! ~ The main character is a major delight. She tries so hard to have a normal high school life, but her anti-social tendencies keep getting in the way. This episode wasn't as majorly packed as the previous episode and without realizing it she's actually talked to someone without stuttering, but on the flip side she wasn't even trying to talk to them either. The level of otaku she is as well as how much of a pervert she is is funny.
- Uchouten Kazouku ~ So far each episode has been unique in its own way. This one had to deal with how they celebrate a special festival, which isn't norm. It also has to do with them having to find the needed air vehicle to use. More character depth here. Also... does that place get wrecked causing him to have to pay her back?
- Servant x Service ~ The fact he keeps forgetting to ask her for her e-mail is becoming more and more funny each time. On top of this they're getting to know each other without realizing it.
- Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C3-bu ~ This one ended up being a major jump in character development. Sure, it took three episodes to get there, but it was honestly worth it. I also like the fact they didn't win or have a draw for her first tournament.
- Hakkenden: Touhou Hakken Ibun 2 ~ Kaho is so cute. Shino teaching the children as well as helping the dead bun owner was a lot of fun to watch.
- Gin No Saji ~ I love how this weeks episode is better then the previous weeks. They cut back on the jokes and the storyline actually became more serious then it was before, making is so that this particular series really picked up.
- Love Lab ~ Love Lab's received a boost as well. Not only is the third episode good, it leads me to believe that their “love research” ends up being official business because people start putting their requests into the box. Particularly when the “don't put the message out” gets spread about because the girls are so excited that their student council will go that far for them.
- Kiniro Mosaic ~ Cute as always
- Brother's Conflict ~ The first thought when I watched the Anime was to ask the question of why some of the brothers are hitting on the main character like they are. Wouldn't there be a pact about not crossing the line? Which makes me wonder if the monk is actually serious about hitting on her or if he is just charming. The second youngest can also now that I think about it being explained away as his rebellious stage. I'm actually enjoying the interactions with the characters as well.
- Danganronpa: Kibou no Gauken to Zetsubou no Koukousei ~ Do the people who created this Anime want someone to have a seizure? I'll admit here that there are things put into place to help prevent such a things, but the scene where we're spinning around the courtroom is way too fast. Sadly this is why the Anime is still so low on my list despite the fact the plot is progressing well in both characterization and plot.
- Yami Shibai ~ Nice and creepy. The third was a big confusing though.
- Blood Lad ~ So we have a boxing match and very little plot development... ok.
- Senyuu 2 ~ Poor hero... he finds himself being blamed for everything and crime after crime added to his list despite not having done anything. The gaga are also hysterical.
- Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou ~ For having such a bad episode this really did perk up. Actually, the series has proven how crazy it can be plot wise. The question comes whether or not the whole thing in the long run has a point. There may in the long run be no point to the whole thing and may just be about being random, random events.
- Recorder to Randoseru Mi ~ The humor did pick up, but not as much as I would have liked to. I'm not exactly fond of the older sister's friend crushing on an elementary school student like she is. Still... his reactions to the snack stick he promised her being missing and it being with her this whole time is funny.
- Kimi No Iru Machi ~ Meh. The characters are far from being memorable or the plot. Eba is such a ditz as well. The development for the pairing involves the guy getting a lot of fanservice when it comes to Eba. No, it isn't ententional.
- Gatchaman Crowds ~ What did I just watch there? Good grief. The reason why they're fighting the MESS is obvious. They have to extract the people who've been kidnapped. And yet our heroine is having to ask the question. She reminds me also of the Mary Sue I came across in a Bleach fanfic where she pasted sticker all over her zampaktuo. Except with a notebook it actually makes sense. Then there is the cliché where she moves into the guys apartment, takes his perfectly good meal and makes it ugly and yet more delicious then anything he cooked. Some of the ideas, like the collage part was cool, but the show is so all over the place it isn't funny! Seems like the main character in the long has quite a few Mary Sue traits and she's... annoying? No, she just doesn't make any sense. None of it does. So even the good parts of the art style and sound feel waisted. Yup... our Mary Sue deals with the Mess in a special manner. And the last part... really creepy.
- Choujen Game Neptune The Animation ~ You know... people are complaining about the fanservice in Free! and saying that it has to be intentional despite the fact the guys are swimming and it isn't that much honestly. I knew from the last episode that this particular Anime focused around fanservice, but this seems to be the only thing going for this right now. The episode felt like it was fanservice every minute and the character development just wasn't there. The story wasn't there either and in the middle it felt like they skipped something.
- Kitakubu Katsudou Kirouku ~ This may end up on my hold list as I'm only able to find the raw of episode three.
- Fantasista Doll ~ Exactly what is the point of this Anime? To advertize some game? The characters are really annoying and over blown as are the problems the characters deal with. The only thing going for it are the cute designs for the dolls. At least I now know you may not be able to steal people's dolls like I thought. They all exist within the same world. The man needed stuff unlocked seems farfetched
- Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist ~ The plot is horrible. The whole thing is all over the place. The characterization is bad as well. There should have been more character development by now. Actually, the whole thing could have been fleshed out more. I also won't be surprised if this is BL/yaoi.
- Gifuu Doudou!!: Kanetsugu to Keiji ~ The plot... there are honestly interesting points to this, but it is horribly slow paced. The characters are interesting as is the closing. I still keep imagining the necks of the characters snapping the rope of a hangman's noose due to their bulk. Maybe though this will actually get better as the series progress.
- Teekyuu 2 ~ The animation is bad still as is the humor, but at least there is a small improvement in the animation. It's sort. I am finding myself actually liking the opening more then I did the previous one. The music is also nice and catchy. That at least looks more professional composition wise. It also seems to have a bad habit of throwing in random references/tributes to other series. It also shoves too much into one series.
