Fullmetal Alchemist has spawned so many different things. The manga leads into and anime adaption, which oddly and horrendously diverges from the manga. Then it has a movie to end off a good series. Brotherhood is made in correlation to the original story. Countless other specials and OVAs follow.
Milos, the newest edition to the Fullmetal family. In my opinion, one of the greatest editions. Milos takes place sometime within the brotherhood story line (which was the oddest thing to me). An escaped convict is traced to table city, Controlled by Amesrtis but is surrounded by a neighboring country. Milos fall in the middle, a territory of Creta, is struggling to survive.
***SPOILERS MAY OCCUR FROM THIS POINT ON***
I love this movie because of the inthralling story, the twist and turns of the characters, but most of all, Herschel and Julia.
I have to say, Alphonse gets all the bitches doesn't he.
Herschel is one of the most badass characters of all time; mask and all. Sword wielding like Wrath, and alchemist like Mustang (bad fucking ass LAVA alchemy), and plans as well as father (not as introquit, but just as good).
Julia is one of the strongest female characters in anime since Balalaika from Black Lagoon. She is the leader of the Milos forces and the driving force of the plot as is. She gets a hold of the Philosopher Stone and uses it to defeat and subsequently save her brother, as well as saving the village from total obliteration. Sh has a good English voiceactor, Himejii from Baka and Test.
Mustang-Badass...
