why is it that even when you know the ending will hurt you, you still seek it? is it solely curiosity or is it that by watching the pain of others, you're reminded that you are not alone in your suffering? i do not know which is the answer, nor is it the type of question that could ever have any type of definitive answer. why is it that all the important questions are like that? people have lived for thousands upon thousands of years, why is the question of why we are living at all still unanswered? even if the answer was not the right one so many are seeking it that it would not matter. even if the answer would lead them to despair, because when handed the answer for something you have sought for so long, do you not simple claw into it, that little bit of hope, thinking that it could be the way out?!
that is how i felt from this manga and isn't it the purpose of every story to elicit feeling? no, not anymore. today it is acceptable to produce anything that will entertain the masses, encouraged even... i want to change that. i want my life to elicit someone's feelings, even if it is only the one person.
