Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita Okay, I'm not going to lie - the summer season was really bad. But among all the shitty anime I've watched, Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita is definitely something that deserves attention, not only because it's the only well-made summer anime. Jintai is a pearl in the mud. The first thing that attracted me to it before even watching this anime was graphics, which are very similar to those of Tsuritama. When I learned that nano.RIPE is performing the opening theme, I was even more excited to watch it. Jintai looks like a normal comedy at the first glance, but actually it's something deeper - this anime shows the way our world is rotting, parodies human habits and shows that we're very close to losing control over ourselves. But Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita, over everything else, is a comedy. And as such, it does very well. I gave this anime 10 and don't regret it. I truly recommend it to everyone who seeks more ambitious entertainment. Kokoro ConnectKokoro Connect. A weird anime. It starts as a classical slice of life school comedy, only to shock the viewer later. The idea of body changing itself is a rather chessy theme in anime and used in comedies. Kokoro Connect, although, isn't a comedy, as everyone thought at first. With each episode the anime becomes more dark and heavy, overflowing with drama. I have to say that I was really surprised by the way everything turned out. I really liked it that Kokoro Connect broke every single stereotype of the slice of life genre. The only things I didn't like are music and graphics. They're... decent. But it's too little to impress me. I was especially disappointed by the OPs and EDs - having watched Yosuga no Sora and loving its OST, I was really excited to hear eufonius and Nekokan in an anime again. I can't call Kokoro Connect one of the best anime, but it surely was a fun series and I enjoyed it. Tari Tari Oh God. What do I say... I'm not fully satisfied with Tari Tari. P.A. Works let me down with the graphics especially. Having watched Hanasaku Iroha and Another I expected way more. The same goes for music - there's really not much of it. And Tari Tari is a music anime, damnit! Beside the opening theme, I disliked every single sound in this anime... I still can't believe it's the bestselling OST in the history of Lantis. But that aside, the anime itself is entertaining. Boring at times, but interesting enough to make me wait for the next episode. What I liked about this anime most are the characters, though. I wish some if them had more screen time (Konatsu, Taichi...). I probably won't remember the details of Tari Tari in a year, but what I'll remember is that it was a fun and cute series. Chouyaku Hyakuninisshu: Uta Koi.Utakoi is, together with Jintai, a summer anime I enjoyed the most. Unique artstyle, catchy opening and, what's the most important, interesting storyline. I'm not really into Japanese history or poetry, so I thought I wouldn't enjoy Utakoi. But only one episode was enough to convince me to watch it. I'm aware that what's showed in this anime isn't fully what's in the original Ogura Hyakunin Isshu, but Utakoi encouraged me to look up into Japanese history and poetry, and I think it's exactly the point of this series. I can recommend this anime to slice of life and comedy lovers and people interested in the theme of this kind of series. Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse And here's the surprise of the season. As I have said many times before, I'm not a fan of mecha and starting my adventure with Muv-Luv I was almost sure that I'm not going to like it. But in reality, though this anime is brimming with action and sometimes I can't catch up with everything, the main engine of the anime aren't robots, but the characters. They're all likeable, well-created characters and their relationships are thoroughly considered. Muv-Luv is a good anime, with action, intriguing plot, great characters and well-made graphics. I really can't complain about anything - even if this series does have flaws, I can't see them. For me Muv-Luv is an entertainment and I enjoy watching it.
