Today I woke up 5:40am. It was raining, so it was darker as usually. The weather web page said the temperature was 11°C (52°F). Surfing the net I saw that it had been raining very hard, at several places in the state for 3 consecutive days. So there were huge floods. Pictures of it were scary. Brushing my teeth... was wondering would I be able to get to work. Were there any streams that could overflow? Huh..guess there were some, but luckily our area never gets floods. If it was anything serious, maybe the guys from work would call me already...
Except for the snail-slow ride, the way to the work was quite normal. There was no overflow, though several streams were high. During lunch break some girls spoke with fear of rain and high waters...
Back at home, I managed to get some afternoon sleep. Hadn't been able to do that for several months now. The background sound of rain helped a lot. I had a good nap from 4pm to 5.30pm. Checking the flood situation on internet... people really had huge problems... Damn, I'm lucky..our town never gets high waters... Again, I was listening to Mai Kotoge.

As for animes today I saw 'Kimi to Boku 2', episode 2. It was awesome as Chizuru had romantic feelings for Masaki girl and it was raining a lot. So there was that nice cat scene.

Also watched 'Fruits Basket', episode 7 and 8. I laughed a lot and had lots of fun. Girl Tohru couldn't understand how the boys Yuki and Kyo were envious and angry at each other all the time. She later compared people with Umeboshi onigiri and dried plum on on side of it... she said that people can't see their own good points, because it's like Umeboshi plum on their back... 'Someone might be envious of you right now. Someone might be admiring something that you yourself hadn't realized yet. When I think about that, the thought makes me.. it makes me want to try a little bit harder.''Basilisk' episodes 4 and 5 were epic. The story is awesome, fights too. And I like the art a lot.
Later on I practiced hiragana writings. I had memorized all of them already and now I can read them. Yippee!! Next is katakana...
That was it for Monday.
