Date A Live | Hataraku Maou-sama! | Shingeki no Kyojin [2 cour] | Suisei no Gargantia
Thoughts:Date A Live:
I know that this is a very unfair comparison, the beginning reminded me heavily of Kaminomi. This series definitely has more fanservice (I don't appreciate fanservice) and a blander male lead, although he improves particularly in the last two episodes. One thing I do like about this series is the fact that Touka (I support Shirou x Touka) does get jealous when Shirou interacts with other spirits. The story honestly did not get interesting until Kurumi's arc. Sadly, what killed the series for me (and probably made for others) was the fanservice, especially those involving Origami. Sadly, Origami is one of the few characters out of all anime/vns that I have read that I just can't like. I like the character designs of the series, except for the AST suits, though! It certainly is a feast for my eyes, especially since I'm a hobby artist. *v* I'm not sure if I'll watch s2, however. I like how the plot seems to get more complex but I certainly don't want more fanservice T__T. I might pick up the light novels in the future though.

Cardcaptor Sakura | Nanoha Movie 1st (rewatch) | Bake/Nise/Nekomonogatari | Kami nomi (s1 (rewatch), s2, ova, + Tenri-hen)
Thoughts:Cardcaptor Sakura:
One of my first animes I watched when I was little! This anime is so old that I remember watching it in Korea ^^; Sadly, this series obviously does not have a amazing animation (stock footage) and has that "card of the week" pattern. I was pretty shocked when I noticed the amount of gay and teacher-student relationship undertones (not that I mind though XD). Some of the foreshadowing is relatively easy to figure out since this series is aimed at young girls. Tsuntsun Shaoran is really adorable XD Once the Sakura Card Arc started, I was in awe as the story did get more interesting. Also, that guy that constantly has is eyes closed is annoying. Overall, it was a nice series to watch, although the format of most of the episodes did bore me a bit.
Nanoha Movie 1st
(Thoughts will be bundled with the 2nd movie for the next season, especially since Movie 1st was a rewatch.)
Bake/Nise/Nekomonogatari:
I think this is my third series I've watched that was produced by Shaft. All I can say is that the Monogatari series is extremely... Shafted XD. The series have heavy dialogue, fanservice, wall of texts, Shaft animation and Shaft's trademark head tilts. Definitely different from all the other anime, other than those produced by Shaft, that I have watched. The fanservice in Bake was ok for me but Nise was just.... I think overall, I liked Bake out of the aired seasons the most. I definitely enjoyed the dialogue and interactions between all the characters, although some the dialogue did want me to take a break or bore me. I was definitely interested in the supernatural and oddities and ways to solve the problems of the girls. Bake was nice since there were five problems in a span of 15 episodes. However, Nise was not as good in my opinion as the actual plot were really 2 or 3 episodes and left the impression that the other episodes were filler, especially because of the amount fanservice provided by the girls, especially in the beginning of the season. My main gripe I had when watching the series was that there is no strong link between all the characters. They are connected to Koyomi but I think that the link is not very strong. Also, another problem I had was that the girl's problems were not solved entirely. Although they are the main gripes I had with the Monogatari series, I will dismiss those since Bake, Nise, and Neko are only a fraction of the entire series. Will follow the 3rd season.
Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai:
One of the best animes for vn players and those familiar with the typical character archetypes of anime characters. My thoughts about s1 are EXACTLY the same as when I watched it when it aired. The humor was hilarious and I love Shiori and her arc the most out of the aired arcs. I remember pointing at Shiori and say that I'm exactly like her, just exaggerated; I did it again during the rewatch. The tropes and such are especially funny since I understand what Keima is talking about; although I barely touched vns when I watched it, I have a extensive backlog of vns to read and have read around 15 titles (not including extremely short ones). The story (more like, character arcs) started to get more interesting starting from Kanon's arc. I liked s1 more than s2 but s2 was still enjoyable. The character arc's enjoyability pretty much correlated to my taste in the particular character's trait. Shiori and Tenri's were my particular favorites (quiet and shy ahahha//) and Chihiro's was rather bland (although I enjoyed it), as Keima said, because she is an average and ordinary person. Obviously following this series for the 3rd season although I would follow it no matter what XD
