Halloween and my old Ninja friend

It's 3:16am here... Eating my favorite dish: semolina pudding (also known farina with milk or Griess)... damn, it's totemo oishii. Took me 30 minutes or so to cook it and to wash the pan afterwards. As I came home from Halloween party at 2:35am, I just got very hungry. I like to add milka chocolate pieces on top of it, so they melt and the taste is awesome... While enjoying the dessert I'm writing my today's blog entry. Today I had a day off, since it's Halloween! So I tried to sleep long into morning.I kind of succeeded. I slept to 9am, though I wished I could make it longer. The morning was cold 2°C (36°F) and foggy. I pretty much stayed in bed and listened to my techno/trance playlist... Later on I watched the last two episodes of 'Nana' anime, number 46 and 47. As the series came to an end, I got mixed feeling about the ending. While the show is amazing and epic I still wanted it to end with Hachiko and Nobu to get together. But it didn't happen that way. Hachiko stayed with Takumi. Well, I guess 'you don't always get what you want in life'. I really hope the author of 'Nana' manga gets well and completes it, so the anime gets it's second season. I really want to see what happens next with both Nanas. Will Hachiko leave Takumi? Will she go with Nobu? What about Nana and Ren? I really want to know that... At around 5pm I got a phone call. It was my old friend. Haven't seen him for a while now. He got back today to visit his parents. Since their parent's house is in my neighborhood, he thought we should meet. 'It is great idea' I told him. He suggested we should go to his other friend's house and like in the old days we should have an xbox party. Awesome! I took my joypad and left my flat. My friend hasn't changed a lot. Despite the new fancy haircut, he's the same old friend I remember, funny as hell... he's a research journalist and he was telling me all about the new spicy scandal stories he's on at the moment. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. About how all these bad guys threatened to sue him. But he said they got nothing on him, he's backed by all the documents and how they're just pussies and all... The way he told it, it was hilarious. It took us like 5 minutes to reach the house of that other friend. He's into MMA and he's recovering from a recent arm injury. On his previous tournament he got armlocked pretty bad, so he had his elbow dislocated. On top of that he has a very bad case of ankle sprain. As usual, he said it was nothing at all. He always tries to be that tough. We played Halo 4. It was my first time playing it. I thought it is way better than Halo: Reach. The graphics, the fight scenes and the general feel is much better than Reach's. But we still ended playing Halo: Reach Firefight in the end. It was awesome. Nothing beats old school splitscreen shooter. At 9pm we decided we should go to that Halloween party that was held in vicinity. Both friends got into their Halloween costumes. I had none. The MMA guy had a red wig and harry potter glasses. The journalist had that ninja costume with plastic katana and nunchucks... It was that child's costume and he was very funny looking... We laughed a lot as we figured out he left his ninja shurikens at home. He said 'Well, I'm trying really hard to quit it...you know it's tough, but I just had to leave them home...'. The MMA guy got some real cool photos of him. The party was held in an old school building that is now used as a local youth center. Earlier it was said the entrance fee was 3 euros for people with no costumes. I was glad the guys at the gates were drunk already so instead of asking me to pay, they were trying to make me drink some beers with them. Funny guys. Well I don't drink, so I declined...and they gave me weird looks. The music was loud already as we were nearing the dance hall. The people on the both sides of the corridor were having lots of fun. The laughter got louder as they saw the ninja. Mostly they were young teenagers. There were lots of young girls, some were really cute. LOL, we felt like pedofiles... As we entered the dance hall it got quite awkward. Standing there in the middle of the room, our ninja friend got defeated really bad, so it seemed. It was getting clear we got tricked about the costumes. Almost no one had costume. People stared at the black warrior and some laughed. Me and the MMA guy, we just couldn't stop but to laugh, it was just so pathetic. The ninja was furious at first. Those people in the hall just had no clue how lucky they were that he'd left his shurikens at home... it would had been a massacre... Lucky, there was that cute girl that knew ninja, so he calmed down quickly... I had fun watching that band that played Guns N' Roses... The guitarist had some nice solos... though there were tons of food, I had none. We spoke a lot about basketball and politics. The journalist told us some very hard to believe things about them politicians. We were telling jokes too. The ninja said it was getting embarrassing so he went to storage room to change clothes. I had fun behind the bar, I had all kinds of juices to drink: orange, strawberry, grape, you name it. All in all it was very enjoyable party. We stayed to 2am. It started raining. The drops were ice cold. We hurried home... On the way we talked, how cool Halloween it was... That's it for this Wednesday.
