First, check on him. *she and Shouko put their ears against Zettai’s door* Why Tharja’s ass… Damn you Nintendo… Why Tharja’s ass… Damn you Nintendo… : He’s been like that since short after the last blog. : …Who are Tharja and Nintendo? : From what Riri and Rika’s big friend told me, Tharja is a character from a video game and Nintendo the publisher of said game. She had a “buttshot” or something like that and Nintendo censored it while leaving another girl’s chest untouched. : …And that’s it? : His friend told me this was a common occurrence or something. Alright, alright. Seems you can’t sulk all day long. BLOG TIME! Head Hair Shouko has AMAZING hair. Not only for being dark blue, but it also is a lovely hime cut! It even matches her eyes perfectly. As an added unique bonus, she has two cute little ribbons on the sides of her hair. In flashbacks she used to wear a single, bigger cute ribbon on top of her hair instead. The only flaw is she only changes her hairstyle once, to put her hair up when wearing a yukata, but why ruin perfection, really. Grade: A+ : Oh… *looks aside* Eyes Now, while Shouko’s hair is incredible, her eyes are sadly blue as well. Thankfully, like last week, she manages to make it work by a combination of being a dark shade of blue and matching her hair color pretty well. Shame she never wears glasses despite being the smartest person around. On a half-related noted, I don’t like how BakaTest gives the main girls and Hideyoshi blue or green eyes only while being more varied for the rest of the cast; as always, those colors are given special status. Grade: B : …Don’t blame the eyes I was born with. I like your eyes. I dislike the blue eye spam. Big difference. Body Build She’s pretty shapely, which is mixed bag. Sure, she has nice legs and her choice of clothing only enhances this, but her chest has also a notable size. Sure, she might not be as busty as Mizuki, but she’s not as flat as Minami either. Her stomach is flat at least. Also, while some other characters from her show have official heights, she does not. She is about half a head taller than 155 cm tall Mizuki but a head shorter than 180 cm Yuuji, which estimates her height on about 163 cm, give or take. That is kind of tall for my tastes, but not tall enough to count as a TDB, shame! That said, the aforementioned Yuuji is her boyfriend, so she gets minor points from being shorter than him. Still, all in all she looks pretty nice. Grade: A- : …Do you have anything against tall girls? No, but I prefer smaller ones! *hugs Chiaki* They are so much cuter! : Mr. Police Officer, over here! Butt Unfortunately, it’s only show once. Even more unfortunately, it’s not a great one either. That said there’s an official figure of her in bunny costume and there her ass looks curvier and sexier. But alas, this show kinda sucks for ass fans. Grade: C- : …I’m gathering you like really female butts… Does an Ursaring poop on the forest? : An Ursawhat? A Pokémon. : You’re so childish, idiot. Clothes Like nearly every anime character nowadays, Shouko is a high school student and therefore wears a uniform. Her case is forgivable for a simple fact: Her uniform is awesome. It’s a black blazer with a red tie and an equally red skirt, and on top of that she wears PANTYHOSE to round it up! A necktie, not a bowtie, sadly, but close enough! Sadly her other wardrobe options are pretty weak: The summer version of her uniform lacks the blazer, her two swimsuits are bikinis and one has a skirt as to prevent showing her butt, and her yukata was nice but it was used on the worst episode of the second season and thus brings back repressed memories. There is one exception tho, her lovely maid dress during the Matsuri OVAs! Finally, I’ll mention her summon’s clothes: Its regular outfit is a cute version of samurai armor, and when the summons temporally become human-sized it wears NAKED APRON! Sadly the anime skipped showing this except for one picture that made sure to not show her ass at all, again; Nintendo would be proud of this studio. Grade: B+ : If she also worn her current cosplay she’d score higher I bet. YES! : …I really wanna curse you… Mind Personality This series is set on a school where students are distributed in various classes according to their grades. Shouko is on class A and is the top student of it, meaning she’s the smartest person in the room when teachers aren’t around. For the record, all but two students in the dumbest class are men, and the two women are smart and just there for plot excuses. This isn’t sexist at all, no sir. Anyway, Shouko is good at every field and only has problems remembering one specific date. Around most people she is quiet and doesn’t like expressing herself much. In the novel, all her dialogue starts with ellipsis like a reverse William Shatner. However, when she’s with Yuuji she’s very different, being very outward in her love towards him, sometimes in a rather overbearing manner. She’s also very jealous, going as far as poking him in the eyes when he looks at another girl, or when she thinks he does. That said, she can afford this behavior simply because she’s also utterly devoted to him. I won’t go into detail since that’s more of a libido thing, but their relationship is one of the most important traits of both characters and therefore it deserved extra mention. Besides that, Shouko is also known for being a klutz around machines, much like a certain mustached samurai, and thus not carrying a mobile or anything like that, among other details. However, in the novels she carries a MP3 player with Yuuji declaring his love for her. All in all, if she toned down a little her jealousy punishments she’d be perfect, but she’s a wonderful girl still! Grade: A : …Again with disliking the eye pokes… Libido This may sound a little weird, but Shouko is essentially the “ideal” girl for me as far this is concerned. As a yandere, or rather a yankuudere, she is completely devoted to her loved one, in this case her CHILDHOOD FRIEND Yuuji, for whom she’d do anything and has loved ever since, well, childhood. She’s devoted to the point her dream is marrying him and has already thought the name of their children, Shouyuu for a girl and Koushou for a guy. You’d think Kouji would be better to keep the theme going, but anyway. She is so devoted people at first thought she was a lesbian because of her lack of interest in men, but she just likes ONE man it seems. On top of that, not only she’s devoted but she’s not submissive at all, as she actively chases him and does her best to make him love only her; she does overdo it a little, as said in Personality, but she has noble motivations. In fact not only she chases him but she’s outright dominant towards him, especially with one envy-worthy scene in the second season where she sneaks into the male dormitories, ties him down and, to put it bluntly, basically “rapes” him. I doubt there was actual sex, but no doubt she did something really sexy. It was even funny since the main guy saw them and shrugged it off, like an “Oh, Shouko is raping Yuuji, it must be Tuesday” sorta thing. To summarize Shouko is absolutely devoted to a guy and she is sexually dominant, can’t beat this. Grade: A+ : …How selfish. I’d be equally devoted! : I’m not sure if that’s romantic or creepy. Age As usual, she is on the first year of high school, so 15-16, which is good but not perfect. Flashbacks showed her at around 9-10 I think, which is cute and nice but not the ideal age either. She is lovely anyway! Grade: B+ Voice Tomomi Isomura is a rarely-heard VA that for a long time ONLY did Shouko, and even now she has few roles outside of her. That said, she is a GREAT voice for Shouko, getting her yankuudere attitude perfectly. Seriously, this woman needs more jobs! Grade: B+ Total: 84 (B+) Aaaand that’s it.
