I wasted my time doing about 1000 pictures showing how KyoAni characters look like other KyoAni Characters resemble other KyoAni characters, and how some look like the offspring of two KyoAni characters or other anime characters.

Let's start with teh most recent, a helpful graphic (written in comic sans, I admit, I did that intentionally- sorry if it hurts your eyes :P), showing how much alike Yuuta, Oreki, and Makoto / Sempai ares.

* They are all fairly close in age (high school)
* They share physical features, at least, face wise; they all have varying shades of brown hair, green eyes, and a similar hairstyle
Note:
Green eyes actually are a rarity IRL. Brown eyes (like mine) are among the most common eye colors, but I've read, from multiple sources that lighter eye colors are recessive, while darker eye colors are dominant.

Shinka Nibutani
Mother: Mayaka Ibara
Father: Satoshi Fukube (both from Hyouka)

I stole this idea from tumblr originally. So, SatoMaya's is real. And apparently, either their alternate universe child can either time travel, or Chuunibyou is set much farther in the future than I thought it was, lol.
Shinka inherited her lighter hair and hazel eye color from the Fukube family, while she inherits her large, happier, less foxlike eyes, from the Ibaras. Since both her parents are fairly good looking, cute, people, she of course, inherits her beauty from them.
Her polite and peppy-ish fake personality could be attributed to Satoshi, while her easily irritable side can be easily compared to Mayaka's behavior. Her facade is very similar to Satoshi's, she acts kind in public, but in private, her personality differs, vastly.
Moving up a generation....
Satoshi Fukube
Mother: Mikuru Asahina
Father: Itsuki Koizumi (both from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi)
Traits Inherited from Mikuru: Hazel eye color, shorter height (Satoshi's only 164 cm, though it's quite possible that he'll grow, being only 15 / 16; Mikuru's a mere five feet tall, and Itsuki's 5'10")
Traits Inherited from Itsuki: Foxlike 'tsurime' eyes
Traits Inheirted from both: Hair color (it's a light-medium dusty brown, not as light as Mikuru's reddish hair, nor as dark as Itsuki's dark brown, therefore, it's a combination of both shades)
Satoshi's cheery disposition comes from Itsuki, as does his lack of personal space, and perhaps, his metrosexual behavior (I mean, he collects handbags, and wears freakin' sunflower fashion! But he still loves Mayaka, thus, he's either metrosexual or bisexual; Itsuki shows hints of attraction to Kyon, but also hints of attraction to Mikuru, and in Disappearance, Haruhi)
Houtarou Oreki
Mother: Haruhi Suzumiya
Father: Kyon (TMOSH)
Both Haruhi and Kyon have dark brown hair, not dissimilar to Oreki's hair color. And though both of them have brown eyes, it's possible, if at least one of their parents has green eyes, that that's where they come from.
Houtarou's intelligence comes from both his parents, and he behaves a tad Kyon-ish. There's something about Oreki that makes me think he's the child of these two, IDK.

Kuzuha Togashi
Mother: Eru Chitanda
Father: Houtarou Oreki

I swear all the Togashis are lovechildren of Chitanda and Oreki. Even the mother, I 'effin swear, who looks a bit young to be a mother of three.
Anyway, Kuzuha's got Oreki's eye color. While she has Chitanda's hair, eyes, and eye shape. Though her hair color is a bit lighter black than Chitanda's, which is closer to 'raven black' or 'charcoal black' a dark black, while Kuzuha's is more 'inkwell', the slightly lighter black could be Oreki's fault (sorry, Oreki).

Haruka Nanase (Free! / Swimming Animu)
Mother: Tamako Kitashirakawa
Father: Houtarou Oreki

Tamako is basically Chitanda, but smarter, mochi loving, and with blue eyes.
Oreki f*cking Tamako would therefore make sense, in CrackCoupleLand; if you can't have Chitanda, have her slightly different doppelganger.
Thus, the result of those two breeding was Haruka
Haruka has the same hair and eye color as Tamako, but looks like Oreki.
Midori Tokiwa
Mother: Ritsu Tainaka
Father: Mochizou Ooji (INCEPTION, YO!)

Midori has tsurime eyes from both Ritsu and Mochi, it was impossible for her not to inherit them. Her hair is lighter, though it might've been darker before.
Shouko Yuasa
Mother: Unknown, pale skinned female
Father: Takashi Nasujima

She has dark brown, wavyish hair, and brown eyes, as he does. Her eyebrows are also fairly thick for a moe girl's. Her very pale complexion might've been inherited from her mother. This one's highly possible in CrackLand. Nasujima's at least in his thirties, definitely old enough to have a 15-16 year old daughter.
