This is my first ever blog so please bare with me.
I'm probably not gonna do this daily, but rather just do when I feel that I need to.
Also, I'm not sure if there are any solid guidelines to writing blogs on MAL so if there's a forum on that please give me the link. Thank you in advance.
Since this is a first for me, I'd like to start by ranting about about a controversial concept in the anime community throughout... wherever.
It's the whole 'Anime vs. Anime' shtick.
Seriously, must we always be posting comments on certain things saying "*blank* is better than *blank*" when you obviously have NO justification for saying it?!
For example: Naruto vs. Bleach. I much prefer Bleach over Naruto. The reason? Maybe another day.
I can understand why people may want to start 'fights' and all this role playing bullshit, but there is one MAJOR problem that I find to be fairly... ridiculous.
Usually (from my experience), the people who are saying that Bleach is better than Naruto (and vice versa) are people who think they're otakus/anime fans just b/c they've watched one, two or just the mainstream Shounen animes. Really?
Just b/c you've watched One Piece doesn't make you an otaku b/c you haven't watched enough to know shit about anime. Some people at my school things they're otakus and they don't even know what manga is! Ya kidding me bro?! Fucking bullshit right there.
We may need drama in our lives and you may want to be the one who creates it. But if you're gonna start all that spamming b/c of an opinion, stop.
Get your facts straight before you start a 'war'. You may like one thing, I may like another. So I don't understand why the human nature must be 'I like this, so you have to like it too.'
So yeah. Those are most of my thoughts on the whole topic of 'Anime vs. Anime' etc. etc.
This is an example of what my future blogs will be like. If it's not then I'll put a note on top. But other than that, any future blogs of mine will be rants on what I don't understand about humans and anime.
