I'll let you guys know a bit of my taste. My top 10 are a fuse of my favorites and what I think are the best titles I've watched. I love each and everyone of them, so make sure you don't make the wrong move and attack one of these titles carelessly or you will be in for a flamewar.

Talk about beautiful plotting. This thing is bullet proof. The characters in it are phenomenal and the atmosphere it creates is haunting. Plus without a single wasted episode. This show really is a feat of writing.3. Cowboy Bebop
I never knew that I could so much depth from a show like this. If I could scores each individual episode, the range would be 9-10 with 10 being the majority. Every story packs a punch without even trying. It's beautiful without forcing itself to exert much effort. It won't tell you to love it but you still will.4. Mononoke
When you talk about some of the cornerstones of anime, Coboy Bebop has to be in that discussion. It's extremely stylish while maintaining a fair amount of substance. The characters in it are timeless and go through some amazing developments. Plus it has both the best soundtrack in anime as well as the best ending. Riveting. A true classic.5. The Tatami Galaxy
I'm a sucker for art like this and let me tell you, Mononoke is ART. It's terrifyingly good as well as being plain terrifying. This really deserves its horror tag. And it still manages to do more than that. I tell you, this show pulls off some of the most daring scenes I've seen and makes it artistically aesthetic. Wonderful.6. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Spectacular. Such a gripping story with zany and uncomfortable situations tossed in a time-loop set to rock your world. The art is also a feast for the eyes and the characters are all lovable and quirky. Masaaki Yuasa's finest work and one of the greatest tiles of the 21st century.7. Baccano!
Like Monster, the plotting here is phenomenal. No dues ex machina, all cleverly plotted events. The expansive cast of characters really go through a lot and come out fleshed out better than most leads in anime. That with the high production value of Bones, and well, you get a praiseworthy title.8. Legend of the Galactic Heroes
Plot-tastic. Multiple stories interweaving with another in such a beautiful way. This is no easy feat to pull off. The music is fast and upbeat and the characters are even more so. A real blast. Anime like this are gems.9. Honey & Clover
A behemoth of a title. This show has some of the greatest characters in anime. EVER. It's a bit bulky, heavy, and large, but it's truly worth the watch. Yang Wenli is the best character in all of anime, so yeah, watch him now. For the love of all that is whimsy watch it now!10. Katanagatari
Anime's elite romance. This show goes above and beyond expectations. It has a lot of depth and realism with the character interactions and the romance is well set up and touching. Nothing short of breathtaking.

Quirky, well-written, and emphatic. This show knows how to close the curtains. There's just something great about this show. The character focus is also clear and well handled. Plus, the dialogue is horribly engrossing. I love everything about this show.
