“Zettai Bouei Leviathan” is an RPG adaptation, and in this case, “RPG” means “Rather Pathetically Gawdawful”. One way to classify this anime would be by calling it a “Cute Demons Doing Stupid Things”. On some fantasy world three young magical girls (who get demon horns, wings and tails during their magical transformations) meet each other thanks to an inept fairly girl who wants to create a fighting team to defend the planet from an invasion by meter-long CG lady bugs. The 3 girls do the required “stupid things”, including being knocked over repeatedly by one CG lady bug.
The writing is cringeworthy, the voice acting is a punishment forbidden by most civilized nations, and the humour is aimed at the severely mentally retarded. Thus, this fantasy moe-fest will undoubtedly develop legions of fans, but I won't be watching any more of it..
