Day Two: Favorite anime you've watched so far

Tis an easy one for me because there is no competition. Macross Frontier is my absolute, most favorite anime that I have watched so far. Most people would probably be weirded out by my choice; I realize that MF had it's own share of faults, both the tv version and movie versions, but there were some wonderful things that really pulled me into the anime. It actually has a pretty decent plotline (both the tv series and movie series), the music is absoutely stunning, and the characters, while annoying at times, are great as well!
I actually never once took a second glance at Mech anime's; they didn't look interesting to me nor did I feel I should waste my time watching them, but then I watched an amv from WhispersReloaded. It was her first version of What 'Bout My Star, made back in 2009 and for some reason it pulled me in; the characters all looked interesting, especially Ranka and the plotline actually seemed like it would be good. I decided to check out MF and before I knew it, I had finished the anime in two days.
Ever since I have been addicted to anything involved with MF and especially loved when the movies, along with the music clip collection video came out. The movies are very different from the tv series, as it is a completely alternate universe, but I appreciate both storylines and enjoy both greatly. I was very sad when the second movie came out in 2011, it was hard to realize that this would probably be the last thing involved with MF. But I was blessed when they came out with Macross FB7 the movie (even though I heard it wasn't that great, which I'm not surprised, I am still looking forward to when it's released on DVD on April 24th) along with the new Macross 30 game, which features all of the Macross's (except Macross II) together in one game. While I won't be able to play the game, since I don't fully understand Japanese, I am more than excited for all of the new footage and music in the game. The game is set to be released February 28th BTW.
