- There are many magical girl releases this year, but I'm really focused on Magical Suite Prisim Nana (release date unknown), brought to us by SHAFT, the same studio which did the horrifying Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. Everyone is going to be watching this, seeing if it could one up their most critically acclaimed piece. It's seems suspicious of SHAFT to release this so soon...well the trailer doesn't look dark...then again, Madoka's initial trailer and synopsis was purposeful trolling. - New Mirai Nikki manga called Mirai Nikki Redial (july), according to this. It was bad, but I'll definitely read this. It's entertaining.
- Read everything translated from Keiko Takemiya and Fujiwara Kaoru. Random, but it needs to be done.
- Read BASARA. It's something that needs to be done.
- Slice-of-life challenge: finish Aqua, Aria, and Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou by the end of the year.
- Read whats been translated of The Poe Family.
- Take a look at Blood Lad (unknown). I didn't like the manga that much, but so long as it focuses on action, has great animation, and the character designs are super refined (I don't want anyone with bright purple hair), then I might follow it.
- Read X.
- Check out Sasami-san @Ganbaranai and Tamako Market. Hated both a lot.
- Read Under The Dapple Shade and Spirit Of Wonder. Incentive: the guy who did Spirit Of Wonder also did the Emanon stories.
- Modern-slice-of-life-challenge: read Koguresou Monogatari, 3 Gatsu No Lion, and Uchuu Kyoudai.
- Things I should really get around to reading so they can be removed from my list: Boukyaku No Haou Rolan, Cosmo Na Bokura, Agharta, Ageha Wo Ou Monotachi.
- Read manhwa epic: Princess. Note to self: don't bother looking for where you left off, it's been too long.
