The story begins with the male lead, Ichika Orimura, being the spotlight at IS Academy - an international school where IS pilots from all over the world are trained - as he is the first and only male pilot capable of operating an IS, which is said to be only compatible to females. Furthermore, as the younger brother of Chifuyu Orimura, who is a legendary IS champion, many have high hopes for him. He then begins his busy school life surrounded by girls, sharing the same room with his childhood friend Houki Shinonono, and the harem effect blooms from there.

Okay - I know I am cutting short on the plot summary, but who cares? Honestly, this anime is merely screaming harem and ecchi in every single episode. What about the mecha and fighting? *facepalm* The concept with the most potential for plot development completely wasted on some brainless bullshit about an idiotic guy surrounded by five bishoujo-tachi trying too hard to own a piece of him. God - what is the point of incorporating such advanced tech stuff when they are just going to be show-vases? (Read More...)
