These kind of manga has been bugging me for awhile now, and today, they are officially the most uninteresting type of manga I've ever read.
Battle Royale is probably the most well known mystery survival themed manga. The first time I read it, I was fascinated. Slowly, I began to notice Gantz, another manga with the same "killing other players" plot as Battle Royale, even though as well as they have the same purpose, their means were different. I respect Gantz for that. When I came across Doubt, i wasn't fascinated, but by that time it was interesting as it is. The 4th manga I found with the same theme is, Bloody Junkie. and what did i feel as I read it? PREDICTABLE characters. PREDICTABLE plot. PREDICTABLE back story. PREDICTABLE development and outcome. They already lose it from the first page of first chapter. "I knew it', was how I felt as I read. They lose even more when they mentioned "Battle Royale kind of game", as if accepting the ripoff, hahaha! i read 6 chapters of this stuff and I've had enough. i might change my mind if i read more, depends on how the story goes, but...
...right now I just feel angry. What a waste of time.
Enough of the rant then, that's it for my first blog. I didn't think that I'd actually start writing a blog now...
