Dumbasses of Anime Fandom

From the past couple years I've experience and encountered many different types of fans. Many who ignorantly proclaim that they are hardcore anime fans just because they watch a shit ton of Naruto. Others who completely judge an anime by it's animation and therefore underrated because of such. And those that just Yaoi fan girls are almost as annoying. Take Kokuro no basuke as an example. It's a sports anime about a couple of guys wanting to be the best at basketball. They encounter many strong teams and go on a journey to become the best in Japan by improving as a team and whatever. Cool Story. So why is it that I feel that a series that IS directed at guys, A SHOUNEN, is populated by an overwhelming amount of females. Nothing wrong with that. But if your sole purpose of watching this anime is to just ship together the characters and shove your yaoi ideals of the show down peoples throats then why do you exist? Another fandom the continues to ruin my impression of an anime fan would have to be the Naru-Bleach-Fairy-whatever fandom. Basically all the mainstream shounen that a good majority of people hop on to. Sure in the past years it's actually died down a bit. I remember going to my local anime convention and there would be, literally, over 1000 people cosplaying from shows like Naruto and Bleach. Now a days at cons you just see a few dozen. That still doesn't mean that the fandom has died. From the bits and pieces of fans that still believe that Naruto is the GREATEST ANIMU EVA~ To the people who believe they are hardcore anime fans just because they watch Naruto. While I do dislike the Naruto as a whole. I have no problem with people liking it. Especially would praise the people who like Naruto and see its flaws at the same time. Give an overwhelming praise to those that dislike Naruto and the only reason they keep up with the series is because they are too far to drop it and just wanna finish it to finish it. {Now while my name DOES derive from Naruto. MadaZer0, and I like to be called Madara. The reason being for that is simply because there WAS a time when I liked Naruto. Yes. That was most likely when Naruto was new to the states and was actually pretty freaking amazing. I picked out Madara when he was first "MENTIONED". He hadn't even shown up yet in the story. I just like the name Madara. And for many years I have used it as my online persona.} While this next group isn't a fandom. It's still a group of fans that are just annoying in their own aspect. Anime Elitist. While I am myself a newborn anime elitist I cannot be compared to to the REAL ones that really take it to a whole new level. These anime fans while claim that about 90% of anime are complete and utter shit. And while they're taste in anime is above average as they do seem to have a good amount of anime under their belt. They are WAY too harsh to fans of many different shows. Forget Naruto fans. These elitists dont waste time on "obvious affairs". But that's just speaking from the books cover. I can go further on in a more deeply analytic manner as to how these types of fans are annoying. But at the end of the day, Why do I care? I don't want to be rooted with all the anime noobies that are tied to one anime. But at the same time I don't want to escalate into a higher plane where people think they know it all and define certain series as garbage just because it doesn't go the way they wanted. I can't really put myself in the middle either. Mostly because there are many other fandoms that ruin the experience on that middle lane. And this is just how the anime fans are. Anime in general also has it's faults. From companies that only care about money and produce low quality anime. To the companies that just over do it with excessive fanservice. Hell we are in the era of "moe". The quality of anime has really gone down in recent years. Don't get mad at me just because I'm saying this. Someone has to. There just isn't as many good anime as there were in early years. Meh. I guess that's life.
