Holy hell, it's been a while since I've posted an update on here. Over three years actually. Man, how the time flies. Anyway, since I've come back to have some fun on MAL, I figured I might as well update this little blog to let people know where I've been lately.
First off, I have since gotten married to my girlfriend that was mentioned in previous blog entries. Hooray! It's been a great ride so far and I know it's only going to get better. She's the one that pulled me back into the anime scene with recent shows, cosplay, and more. A wonderful woman, of that there is no doubt. Yeah, we have mixed opinions on some stuff and we get into it, but we're still an awesome couple and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
Second, World of Warcraft. It DEVOURED me. To the point where it almost cost me my job and my new marriage. It was that bad. Since then, I went casual then completely quit. I've considered picking it back up as something to do in my free time, but I dunno. I got a lot of friends that went back, so we'll see. For now, I'm not sure.
Third, I fell out of the anime scene. Having been swamped with work and my new marriage, I just didn't have time for it. I would watch an episode of something here and there, but there just wasn't anything holding my interest. I think I went through some sort of mood-swing or something. I dunno. That brings me to my four point of interest...
It's good to be back. Oh how I've missed the world of big eyes and small mouths. There's been so much out lately that I've gotten into. Accel World, Sword Art Online, Idolm@ster, Muv-Luv, and more! The industry is really turning around in my eyes and I love it! No more typical shonen fluff in the likes of Naruto and Bleach. Finally some series that are catching my interest and keeping it! There seems to be more on the way too, and I'm excited about it.
All in all, I'm glad to have returned to anime. More anime, more manga, more figurines, more everything. Bring it on! My body is ready even if my wallet is not!

TL;DR - I left MAL because of life and a drop in anime interest. I have since renewed my interest and am glad to be back.
