Anime Watchlist for this Season

Hmmm so far I've been watching a lot of romance anime this January... I wonder if I'm getting sentimental. I'm gonna try to listen them in priority order, as in the order I would watch the next episode first to find out what happens next. First on the list would probably be Psycho-Pass. Not much to say except that the anime theme is extremely interesting and the plot development has been excellent. I've never watched an anime that has given me rage before. Till now. lol xD I didn't really find the characters at first to be that interesting but the plot and character development has made them all very interesting. In the context of the anime that started last year, this was one of the top three I watched amongst Btooom!, Girls und Panzer, and Sword Art Online. Like Btooom!, this show required me to get used to the characters and let the plot develop (at practically the end of the season) to enjoy the anime. Second on the list would be another show that started last season, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo. This anime has an interesting premise to start with but I never started the anime until December when most of the Winter Season was already over. Having 3-4 animes you really wanted to watch plus other anime made me put off watching even the first episode until much later. However, because of lovability of the main character Shiina, I became hooked on this one and caught up very quickly. I was super happy to discover it was gonna be an 26 episode series. Earlier last year I had tried getting into romances but for some reason just couldn't get into them or didn't want to. Even though I started off thinking that the humor in this one was quite charming and different from the usual slap-stick stuff, thinking back, this anime has the usual ecchi and other slap-stick stuff going on. Regardless of that, my love of Shiina made this show super enjoyable. Her lack of common sense and inability to deal with social situations made for comedic moments on one hand and extremely charming moments on the other hand with her child-like simplicity and innocence. I also loved the over-the-top antics of Misaki and provocativeness of Rita. I didn't really like how they tried to squeeze so many different couples/romances into the series but I really have come to like all the characters from Sakura. Third on my list is kinda of a toss-up but if I had to choose right now, I guess I'd say I'm most interested in seeing where they take Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. They don't touch on the romance all the time, and the few times they do is kind of cute since they're still in the initial stages of the relationship. The part about improving agriculture and introducing new plants really perked my interest in what the Demon King's goal is and how she aims to accomplish it. I'm kinda wondering how they'll resolve her lying to everyone about who she is. Hopefully it'll a satisfying resolution. Fourth most anticipated-anime would probably be Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?. The powers of all the different children are really interesting. I found how they unfolded the setting through the plot pretty interesting. It's nice to see that all the main characters are also pretty strong rather than just the guy. Fifth atm would probably be Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru Mainly because I find the main girl, Natsukawa's torture of Eita, sooooo hilarious. The gestures and noises he makes when she reads his notebook is soooo funny. xD I don't really think atm there's much else going on with this anime. And so I don't really prioritize this anime much over the others currently. I've been watching Amnesia. Mainly because the characters are all so pretty. The girl is kinda charming in an odd sorta way because of her aloofness. Overall, I'm still waiting for them to introduce what's going on a bit more to decide if I'll continue watching it or not. They have been leaving a lot of stuff unsaid but for me I don't feel any particular need or expectation they will answer all the unsaid questions for now. We'll see. Then after that, it's really a matter of coming across other anime. Right now I was recommended by two ppl to try out Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. I watched the first episode, and actually was very impressed. I might upgrade this later but really enjoyed the clash of personalities and the resulting romantic dynamic going on between the two main characters. The guy is really brash, impetuous, almost rude, but extremely sincere and almost innocent. The girl is super calculated, socially mature, and intelligent. He constantly just makes her jaw drop in shock which I find really amusing. =) If anyone has any other recommendations from this Winter's anime that's currently airing let me know! =) In terms of fillers, the rest is on my anime list. Some of them I plan on putting on hold if I have too much anime on my plate. I found Hikaru no Go pretty interesting. Hunter X Hunter I've been trying to catch up on because I know so many people that enjoy it. I find the series' direction pretty interesting.
