Another hundred episodes into it, there really is no turning back, hah. I'm starting to enjoy One Piece a bit more now, actually. I don't think I've smiled so much at an anime before, at the end of the Alabasta Arc; One Piece just does a great job with maintaining a really serious, solemn atmosphere and then changing it to a lighter theme. And I'm sure this isn't even the best it's got to offer, so I'm keeping my current score on it lower than what I would if it were a shorter anime. I guess it goes to show that if it can keep me up until seven o'clock in the morning, me intending to watch two but instead watching seventeen episodes, then it's a good anime. c:
